I think I'm just a little to old for her. Besides, I haven't had flowing curly hair in years.

So far Maine is the only school to post a pre-game party. It's near Busch Stadium. Paddy O'Reilly's, located at 618 South Seventh Street in the heart of St. Louis's downtown area, will serve as the official pre-game venue for University of Maine hockey fans during the Black Bear's trip to the 2007 Frozen Four. On Thursday, April 5, Paddy O'Reilly's will be open from 12-2:30pm exclusively for UMaine fans. A cash bar and lunch menu will be available. The UMaine band and the Naked Five will be in attendance to help fans prepare for the game, set for 3pm (CT). Should Maine advance to the National Championship, a similar pre-game party will take place at Paddy O'Reilly's beginning at 4 on Saturday, April 7. http://goblackbears.cstv.com/sports/m-hock.../032707aac.html There has to be a bunch of bars between the arena and the stadium for the Sioux to meet.

I'll be wearing last year's Frozen Four jersey of Rylan Kaip #17 (he got one goal against BC last year) at times and the home with Jon Durno (aka the Wookie) #12 from Canisius. Or one of the other Sioux jerseys on my web site below.

Looks like I'll see more of my Sioux friends now that the team is on the way!

Thier two-four won't last the night!

End of one, no score Michigan State and Notre Dame

I knew Kaip would get one tonight!

SPEED KILLS!!

Has Hansen called a decent game? Or, is he about to throw it?
-
Why wait till next year! I've got one of #6 Brian Gino from a couple of seasons ago.
-
Please, Please, Please, don't let Scott Hansen (e) call tonight's game. He's got to be one of Hockey East's worst refs! He's blown many calls in the past that have changed the out comes of games. The other Hanson (o) from Hockey East isn't that great either. They make the Hanson Brothers look like they have prefect vision without glasses.

Way to go Rozman! Man, I wish I was there wearing his old jersey right now. Instead I'm stuck at work

Last year I was in the lower bowl, one section from the Sioux band for game one, which was fine. But, the other two games UW band was there. I was very happy I took ear plugs for those games. I had a Holy Cross jersey at the time, but didn't bring it with me. I got placed next to a bunch of gopher fans, it would have been sweet to see their faces.

My Frozen Four tickets came and I was disappointed that both Semifinal games are together. Yes that's right there will be only ticket for the games on Thursday. They due note that you can exit , but must have your ticket scanned before leaving, and scanned again as you re-enter for the second game. Not sur on how bad the tickets are Sec 316 Row B. Looks like behind the goal line. Look forward to having fun in St. Louis.

Tough break for the Sioux/Gophers and the WCHA.
Wookie#12 replied to SiouxForever's topic in Men's Hockey
The two wins by Maine over the Sioux got them in the show. And ever since they have been sinking ship. Maine and Michigan State have not been good over the last month or so, and they both end up as #3 seeds. Michigan State looked bad against Michigan Friday, and blew a 3 goal lead to Lake State in the 3rd place game, and needed overtime to win. -
Summers was moved up to LW from D about a month ago. He's a decent skater, not much of a scorer, and will take a bad penalty. Cogliano has played for team Canada the last two seasons at the juniors, and is a first round draft pick as well. Porter and Rohlfs started the season hot for Michigan, with the passing of Hensick leading the first line. The second line didn't drop off much. The third did thier role in scoring every now and then. The fourth line was the checking line and give the others a break line.

Here's their lines they have been going with: LW 11 Porter C 7 Hensick RW 16 Rohlfs LW 4 Summers C 9 Cogliano RW 24 Kolarik LW 22 Naurato C 18 Miller RW 10 Turnbull LW 14 Lebler C 15 Ciraulo RW 26 Fardig LD 3 Johnson RD 6 Hunwick LD 5 Kampfer RD 8 Dest LD 25 Cook RD 17 Mitera G 36 Sauer

Should I post my Air Force jersey with Brian Gino's name removed, or keep the Huntsville Rozman up. I'll have the Kaip Frozen Four back up after the Michigan game. Either way I hate the gophers! And I don't want to see them in St. Louis. I got word that my Frozen Four tickets are being sent out this week. I'll have the Jon Durno (aka Wookie) with me.

As some one who goes to their games every now and then. Jack has learned to avoid the label of "Jack-In-The-Box" this year. Be more concerned with the Sioux making the wrong time to get called for stupid penalties. As a team, they have improved alot from the first part of the season. Their passing has improved, but still not WCHA quality. They are offensive minded, leaving Billy Sauers on his own in net. He is still young and has improved this season, but is easy to beat on a breakaway. It was a surprise that he stopped a Penalty Shot Friday night. Shutouts are rare, as the 'D' will let him down and he'll make mistakes. T.J. Hensick has learned to pass the puck this year. I thought he'd go four years without passing the puck to anyone. This has helped others on the team to score Porter, Kolarik, and Rohlfs. On the Power play, look for Jack to play 60 to 90 seconds of it. He is the hardest shot on the team, and is about the only one to take a one-timer. The lack of a great passer means you won't see that many one-timers from Michigan. Keys are to bottle them up at center ice, and get under Hensick's skin. Hensick and Hunwick are the two who will take the bad calls for Michigan. Skaters are Hensick, Johnson, and Cogliano. All three can skate from end to end if you let them, again bottle them up. The team likes to play wide open from start to finnish. Only Hensick is the only man good on the draw, and he will have his bad nights. The rest of the team can't win the face-offs when needed. So, the set plays in the zone have not been there this year for them as in years past. Michigan had their chances to be seeded else where, and knows how the Pairwise works, and the last team I wanted them to face are the Sioux. I can't see Michigan play at the same level as the Sioux right now. The Sioux should win 4 - 2 if it's close, by more if it's not. I hate to say it, but Notre Dame has a sound team, with no stars on it. Jeff Jackson has taught his team how to play good hockey. How long before they run into a well coached and talented team is the question everyone has been waiting for. David Brown looks as strong as Elliott did last year for UW.
-
Notre Dame is NOT wearing Green tonight. Michigan 1 Notre Dame 0 after 20 mins.
-
Final UW 4 - MTU 0 Who would you want to face Saturday, Elliott was hot, or the Gophers who are not?
-
I can hear that sound now on the power play
