I hate to think that If Michigan wins the CCHA (or placing 3 or 4 in PW), they could be stuck playing Minny in the first game, since DU could not be forced to play another WCHA team in the first round. I hope that the NCAA will call the CCHA game tonight a "Winner goes to Grand Rapids" game, no matter how the PW goes for seeds 1 thru 4. There is also a chance that the Sioux could end up in the West as well. This would seem like a dream/scheme set up by the NCAA to get rid both Michigan and UND in one bracket at the hands of the host Gophers.

Only seeing one weekend of a team play, you can't make a good judgement of how well a team is. If so, I would have thought the Sioux would never get home ice after seeing them play at the GLI this season. Back-to-back losses the Michigan State and Tech, that had to be the low point of the season. Way to turn a season around guys!

Hey I just got my 2009 Frozen Four tickets. Upper Bowl as the usual, but at least not behind the net. Sec. 419 Row B Large ticket 3.5" X 8.5" one for each night. Hoping for the best and hoping to see all by Sioux friends in D.C. Has anyone been to the Verizon Center for a Caps game to know how well the seats are in the place to make a comment?

In an empty rink, finding a spot in the corner where no glass support are in the way of the goal is great to see and feel the game played in the corners and behind and around the net. Anywhere on the glass is good to take someone to show them how fast the players are really skating. As a game worn jersey collector, nothing beats being in the first row behind the bench. It is great to see the wear on the jerseys up close. I have bid on and won jerseys that I was able to see the board burns and repairs up close. Also, you can see how the coaching staff interacts with the team and officials and vice-verses.
