It must feel good to go on a message board and rip on a kid who is a Mr. Hockey finalist. I would be willing to bet that everyone who is on here bashing Rehak couldn't even carry his jock strap. You guys say how does a kid with 19 points in the West get a nomination for Mr. Hockey. The kid plays defense, he's not a forward. There's a lot more to the game than just putting up points. The kid plays on a offensively challenged team, compared to Ladouceur who plays for a very dominant Red River team that frequently blows out opponents and finds the back of the net a lot more than Williston does. Its only common sense when a team scores as often as Red River does that those kids are going to have higher point totals than a kid like Rehak from Williston. Red River has 158 goals compared to Williston's 77 according to Gillen's site. Red River has scored more than twice the goals Williston has. Ladouceur has one more goal than Rehak, but a lot more assists. Well its a lot easier to pick up assists when you are playing for a highly skilled Red River team that averages over 6 goals a game. I am by no means trying to take anything away from Ladouceur, the kid is a great player and in my mind deserves to win Mr. Hockey. You dont get drafted into the USHL unless you can play, but at the same time Rehak can also play the game. He may not be the player Ladouceur is, but he is a very good hockey player who has been a big part of an improving Williston program. There is no reason why he shouldn't be a Mr Hockey finalist.

If the east was as good as you all say it is, you guys wouldnt sit on here and rip apart the west. Anyone team or person who is good at their sport, knows they are good and they dont find the need to go and beliddle their opponent. I'll admit east region hockey is good and better than the west, but you people all ruin it by running your mouths. It only takes one person with a big mouth to ruin it for everyone else. Anyone who reads this board would think the RR and their fans are very arrogant, but I know Coach Malm is a very classy coach, and i would imagine most of his team is the same, but you people on here give them a bad image.

Yeah anyone who knows me probaly can figure out who i am its not that difficult. I'm just fed up with all these east people who think they are better than what they really are.

It's really rather sad that you Eastern people have nothing better to do than sit on here and cut down the west. You don't see people from the West on here bashing the east. The only thing i see west people do on here is stick up for the west. You people from out east should realize that the hockey you play is JV compared to Minnesota high school hockey. East region hockey is not god's gift to earth in case you haven't figured it out. I've read this site for 3 years and it really wears on you to see people consistantly rip on the west. why dont you people talk about what you guys need to do to step it up to Minnesota's level instead of ripping on the west? Does it make all of you feeel better to talk about how much better you guys are then the west?

I wouldn't say that RR's experience won it for them in the end, i think the fact that they were far more skilled and just an overall way better team than the coyotes won the game for them

RR experience does nothing for them. Williston has absolutly nothing to lose right now they have far exceeded everyone expectations.

Do you really think that RR having expierence makes a difference. according to you williston shouldnt be nervous at all, i mean they were suppose to get beat by double digits or at least thats what the experts (thats you if you cant figure it out) predicted. i mean if williston holds RR to less than 9 goals this period they have done better than you predicted.

Yeah im sure he would have gotten ran all game if he was playing in the East, haha what a joke. Like the kids that play in the east are tougher than the kids in west. It really doesn't matter whether this happened in the west or the east, either way there is no fighting in the east or the west. Do you really think it would be worth it to go and take Dillon Kraft out, get in a fight and be suspended. NO. These kids only play 20 some games, they certainly don't want to sit out a game or two for taking out Dillon Kraft. He's simply not worth it. If it was junior hockey he certainly wouldn't have pulled what he did because he would have got his head took off. Also there is a certain Colby Rehak who plays for Williston who certainly could have took care of Mr. Kraft if he wanted to, but once again why would Rehak (Williston's best player) want to take himself out of the game and probaly the next few games after that. So basically what im saying here is that the comment posted about how this never would have happened in the east is a complete joke. Rehak is just as tough if not tougher than anyone from the east. Lastly, I played in the west and played with plenty of kids from the east, and the kids from the east aren't any more physical or tougher than kids from the west. If you ask me I would say kids from the west play a rougher style of game than kids from the east. I know that there will probaly be a bunch of people from the east who will respond to my comment and say the east is more physical and they are so tough but im not buying it. Most the people who post on here probaly never played hockey or else they come on here to brag up their son, so they really don't know what they are talking about anyway.

everyone should cut livestoplayhockey a little slack, he obviously couldnt hack it playing high school hockey, so instead of spending his time trying to improve his hockey skills he spends it on siouxsports.com, its ok livestoplayhockey not everybody can be good at hockey but im sure you are good at something, maybe you should take up chess or water polo ya just never know what you might be good at. but would you please stop posting because everytime someone reads your posts they leave their computer dumber than before

I dont understand what everyone sees in Lapoint, I have played against and watched him play and I didn't even notice him out there.If someone would not have told me he was signed by UND i would have just thought he was another tall, skiny defensemen.
