  1. Let's Go Powerplay!
  2. What about greg-waa? Maybe if the announcer was from Boston... EDIT: maybe he's reading the message board, he just pronounced Chay's name correctly.
  3. Everybody just cheered when they showed the Gophers/Huskies score.
  4. That's only one verse of the song.
  5. They are the local radio feed and they know they're online and that we can hear them.
  6. Oh that's creative! They replace every word of that song with "sieve". Why didn't we think of that?
  7. There's a hockey game on tonight!? Sweet!!
  8. GOAL!!!!! Watkins! Shorthanded!!!!
  9. Alright. Gotta capitalize on this power play!!
  10. Sure it is, but only when it's called in conjuction with a hooking or tripping.
  11. What? You dont like the old guy who stands up and tells people to cheer?
  12. Yea, they're way too zoomed in, and they keep switching camera angles. The ice level cameras aren't any good, either.
  13. Dive count: 1
  14. It's free!?!? I thought I was going to have to pay for it! Awesome!
  15. Does anybody have video of the three goals scored against Wisconsin in last year's regional final?
  16. I posted in the other thread, but I'll be there, too.
  17. Fox Sports (found it on MSN.com) has a list of 9 Most Embarrassing Sports Records. #3 on the list: Most NHL penalty minutes by a goalie: Ron Hextall Opposing players quickly learned that when they skated near the crease of NHL goalie Ron Hextall, they were more than likely to receive a slash for their trouble. Hextall, who spent the majority of his career with the Philadelphia Flyers and amassed 296 career wins, set the all-time mark of most penalty minutes by a goalie with 113 in 1988-89. The fiery netminder often skated out of his net to play the puck and, occasionally, to body check opponents. He accumulated more than 700 PIMs in his NHL career.
  18. I remember being at a Wild game early in the season and I had my Sioux sweatshirt on. The lady at the concessions was making small talk asking about how the season was going (no smack talk or anything) and I told her how awful the Sioux were playing so I wasn't sure how the season was going to go. Thinking back on that now, I find it so hard to believe that was this season. It seems like ages ago, then again it's happened every year. I think maybe I have the opposite reaction as some people. I don't jump off the bandwagon or start panicking, but rather I'll stay overly calm and just assume that things will turn around. So far things have always been fine.
  19. Just to clarify, if Denver wins next weekend, one point gives us the #1 spot for the first round, but we are just co-champions of the cup? We need two points to get the cup outright, correct?
  20. Can't blame them for not wanting to leave. I see some tears from the players. Can't blame them for that either. Their last home regular season game and they get the emotion of taking first place with an overtime win. Couldn't script it much better.
  21. Zajac!! Sioux win!!
  22. Just starting OT. 1:51 left on Hextall's penalty.
  23. And finishing your check is a penalty now, too.
  24. and.....tie game.
  25. So according to Sweeny, the lack of penalties so far in the 3rd is a reflection on the teams changing how they're playing. Of course there's no chance it could simple be lack of consistancy by the refs.
