well I guess that is better than a big a$$hole on the roster....
I had the same thought, but you beat me to the post.
But, I dont think that we have a huge hole in the roster, with the guys we still have, and the talent that we have coming up, I think we'll be just fine.

where did you hear that?
That's a joke, son.
-
They taste the same going down as coming up. I know 'cause I left some in the REA.
Has Drew signed yet?
HEY!!! I heard he signed!
-
Zach's coming back! Can he do that?!
ButterShots!!!
Let's drink until our cheeks are numb...OK Sioux-cia? We'll check with Hockey Mom to see if she has the same symptoms!

Well, I am glad I prefaced the original post with "Unless something happens" because something last minute DID in fact happen. The deal with Buffalo was agreed upon in principle and Drew did fly to Buffalo on Saturday to sign the deal. However, a last minute snafu by a third party prevented the deal from being signed and Drew has since left for the tournament in Europe. If everything goes ok in Europe (i.e. no injury), the deal should be signed shortly after he gets back. I wish I was permitted to explain what held it up but I can't at this time. Maybe BB9 has permission to talk about it because he seems pretty dialed in.
OK, BB9, time to cough up some new info.

My nephew has gone for a few years. The first year, his first day here, he and a few others were playing dodgeball when they had free time that evening. He tripped on the cracked sidewalk/pavement and broke his arm! His Mom was NOT impressed! Neither was my husband, since he was the one that had to take him to the ER and sit there till 4AM when they finished setting Dain's arm.

We all know this was coming, although not official yet. Good Luck, Drew.

Happy Birthday Jonathan. Enjoy your day.

I don't even think they have the ability to make ice anymore. Haven't they stripped out the mechanics of the arena?

This clip reminds me of the Holy Cross/Minnesota game.
That's awesome Poor Briggs ...I mean that poor guy in the car

Maybe we'll (Goph fans) will have to start a BC/Denver/whoever takes you out next year fan club!
W
How could that possibly top the Gophers losing the final 3 games of the year. 2 coming on home ice, and the 3rd to a team ranked far below them.
Kinda sucks when you are the top ranked team in the country.

Good Luck Jacques. I wish you the very best in your future and your hockey career.
You deserve the best.

Good. Now nobody will want it and I can get it for cheap and then wear it to games.
I just Love Jason Endres ...don't you Sioux-cia?

The auction info is up. I wonder how bad the discoloration is on the numbers of the black jerseys.....
I checked with the guy in charge of the auction. Here was his reply to me: "The numbers are a tanish color. Many nameplates are new, so they are not discolored. They were OK for wear this year, a little discolored, but still look good".
I'm going to take that as not too bad, and still worth it.

Congrats Drew. Good luck in the tournament. Go for the Gold!

Bummer. He'll be missed, but I wish him the best. Hope it's not true though.

I was able to channel surf between games as Center Ice aired the NY/NJ game for me and blacked out the Dallas/Colorado game which I was able to see on channel 11. I highly recommend Center Ice!!! It's worth every penny.
Yes, it is worth it. Keeps us going on the nights the Sioux don't play, not to mention we can watch hockey until June.

I can't wait for the 27th so I can bid on a Schneider jersey.
Just kidding, I'm partial to goalies.

So how old is Darcy Zajac?

I just saw this topic, read it all the way through, but just had to find out for myself. I was able to blow the picture up enough to see what it said under the "ND". It says "IRISH".
Just had to see it myself.

A year to late but still we could've saw our former goalie Josh Siembida play another game @ Ralph except he would be on the opposing team.
Does anyone know how Josh did while playing for Quinnipiac?

Captain/Goalie, usually doesn't happen. It interferes with their consentration/head game, among other reasons. Not saying it won't happen, but I doubt it.
