I have a very random question. I was trying to post the Sioux Survivor thread and the items that are single-spaced with no spaces in-between lines on my Word document have spaces in-between lines on here. You used to be able to edit posts when things transferred wrong, but I can't figure out how to fix it right now. Am I doing something wrong or did something change?

RULES: Anyone can enter. Only 1 entry per person Each night the Sioux play, you are allowed to select 1 Sioux player you think will score a goal. Your player must score or you are eliminated from the competition. If your player scores a goal, you will move on to the next night the Sioux play. You will again select 1 Sioux player you think will score a goal, HOWEVER, you may not select the player you used in the previous round(s) as you can only use each player 1 time, and 1 time only. Again, if your player does not score a goal, you are eliminated. If your player does score a goal, you will again move on to the next night the Sioux play. Last one standing is the SURVIVOR! ***You MUST post your selection by replying to this thread.*** All selections must be in 1/2 hour prior to game time(ex. game time 737p, picks must be in by 707p). We will be using this boards clock as the official clock. If you qualify but miss a game, you are automatically ELIMINATED from the game. If all people are eliminated in the same night, all players that were eligible for that game will carry over to the next Sioux game as though all their players scored the previous night. You are allowed to post "if I make it" picks for a weekend series. For example: Sioux play Fri/Sat. You can make your picks for both games, please post these in the same post. Once your selection is made, you can NOT change it. Be aware of who is dressing and who is not, it is YOUR responsibility to find out! Shootout goals do NOT count as a goal scored. Most of it actually disappeared like 6 months ago, maybe more (I didn't really look at mine that often!). I went to the edit to see if the rest of it was there yesterday and there was only the lines that show up.

If you want to be technical about it, it could have been termed assault. The definition of assault from the Legal Information Institute (Cornell University Law School) is as follows. If she considered herself to be threatened, that is assault. There doesn't have to be physical injury. Not to mention, he was in a position of authority over her. While he could not have fired her, he controlled her access to a necessary part of her job. What happened should never have happened and my personal opinion is that regardless of whether or not she wanted it to...that should have been brought to her editor right away and then to the University.

What do you mean by that? Dane was brought in when Brad left in 2006. 2012 was the first year that they coached together at UND. I would guess that it came down to NHL experience and more years as a coach. 15 years (Berry) vs 12 years (Jackson)

I think you read that wrong. He owed the school $318,270 if he left for another NCAA school. If he was fired, things would have been different..UND would have had a huge contract buyout if that happened.

Jackson has publicly stated more than once that he wouldn't donated to UND as long as the Sioux nickname was in place. Whether or not that will change once the new name is in place......well, I am guessing only Phil knows the answer to that one.

I get where you are going, but in regards for Point 2. University Senate meetings are held at 4:05 pm on the first Thursday of every month. IIRC, they have been that way for many years...so as Student Body President...knowing that you should attend those meetings...why would you sign up for a class that conflicts with that? Yes, that might be the only time that the class is scheduled for. However, I know several past Student Body presidents and most of them knew that they would have to schedule their classes around these things.

I don't want to say Thank you to the seniors yet..saying thank you means saying good-bye and I don't want to say good-bye yet.
