I think you read that wrong. He owed the school $318,270 if he left for another NCAA school. If he was fired, things would have been different..UND would have had a huge contract buyout if that happened.

Jackson has publicly stated more than once that he wouldn't donated to UND as long as the Sioux nickname was in place. Whether or not that will change once the new name is in place......well, I am guessing only Phil knows the answer to that one.

I get where you are going, but in regards for Point 2. University Senate meetings are held at 4:05 pm on the first Thursday of every month. IIRC, they have been that way for many years...so as Student Body President...knowing that you should attend those meetings...why would you sign up for a class that conflicts with that? Yes, that might be the only time that the class is scheduled for. However, I know several past Student Body presidents and most of them knew that they would have to schedule their classes around these things.

I don't want to say Thank you to the seniors yet..saying thank you means saying good-bye and I don't want to say good-bye yet.
