You must have missed the bleachers on the other side, there are about 5000 in attendance.
I'd agree, most likely more then at the regional, and its a home game for UNH. NCAA still hasn't successful UND was for a regional.

I do feel like I'm at a UND game, all the band music is exactly like UND's. I even heard 7 nation army.

But ESPN promotes themselves as "The Worldwide Leader in Sports" (I like to change the last word to "Hype"). Outside of the Northeast, no one gives a rat's-behind about Lacrosse. What's next, a multi-million dollar contract to cover every Professional Bowling Association (PBA) Tournament? Or how about Lawnmower Racing?
I think it's time for a College Hockey Pay Per View package so that people that want to watch the regionals can order the games through their cable provider and ESPN can put all their novelty, alternative garbage on and not tick anyone off.
I disagree, the entire east coast is big into the sport.

I have had it with ESPN and their garbage. All the exclusive contracts, putting games on channels almost no one gets (DaveK, we know you think it's the viewer's fault, so don't even start with me today) and putting novelty, alternative sports like Lacrosse ahead of college hockey, which probably has 100x the fan base that Lacrosse will ever have. Anyone who tries to tell me that Lacrosse is a bigger money-maker than hockey (college or NHL) is full or crap or is an apologist for "The Worldwide Leader in Hype."

Everybody can have a rant, but why would ESPN switch from a game in OT to a game that has just started. How would you feel if they left the Sioux hockey game in OT to go to La Crosse game just starting, just be patient.

How many times has a Sioux hockey game gotten bumped because some lesser sport goes long? Lots! Too often!
There are more people at this game then the regionals, and more people probably watching its a huge sport on the East Coast.

Looks like a bigger crowd at this lacrosse game than in any of the regionals yesterday.
La Crosse is huge out here, they had some good things to say about UND.
EDIT: By out here I mean East Coast.

Just Alpine. That's about all I spend money on anymore, unless they come to Minneapolis during a winter tour.

Also for all you Sioux fans check out the Hawks website, specifically Blackhawks TV. They have Toews talking the other day about the Sioux and the tournament. Kinda feel he still has a little bit of him that still wants to play for the Sioux.

Put an average goaltender behind that Hawks team and they are a final-four team ... conference finals. As is, I think they are no better than 50-50 to win that first round series, and a second round is unlikely. If they can get into the depth of the playoffs, all those young legs get to be an advantage, but I don't see it happening.
That said, I like New Jersey and Detroit at this junction. Mix of veterans and young legs, proven goaltending, balanced scoring, good checking line.
I'll throw my two cents in as I am a diehard, yet honest Hawks fan. Hawks getting through the 2nd is unlikely, there has to be a ton of upsets, i.e. two of the top three go down for us to make it any further.

Because I'm not from the area and don't know the roads as well as everyone else... I need to move this weekend. I have to be in Oklahoma City early Tuesday morning.
My parents are attempting to come up from Wisconsin to Grand Forks on Friday... will it be possible? Are there any bridges in Fargo that will still be open, plus will I29 still be open? I've also been told to have them take 94 to 59 to 2 and try to get to Grand Forks that way. Does anyone know if either of these would work or are they going to be forced to go all the way up to Pembina?
Also... I need to get down I29. I know that it's already closed south of Fargo... how can I get around that? Any suggestions?

Simply put....you can't beat good goaltending. It's a tough pill to swallow. That is also my prediction for Haks post game comments

Three Sioux fans celebrating in MD, were excited for the FF, hopefully including the Sioux. Looking to the future, how good are we going to be in the next few seasons? If I remember correctly, some saw this as a rebuilding season, myself included.

#1 Coach Don Lucia gone. In his absence, I think the team was like a rudderless ship (IMHO). I think that Hill just doesn't have the control or quite as much respect from the team. The fact that Hill instructed Stoa to do what he did is testament to that. I was referring to that in my "feels a bit sicker" comment. I don't think things would have escalated quite the way that they did if Don Lucia was on the bench. I only hope the best for Don and is health. Really.
#2 Stoa gone for the game. Again team leadership missing. And it showed.
Hill didn't help himself in possibly getting future head coaching jobs anywhere after this weekend.
