I'm not from Grand Forks, but I would now say its my favorite town in North Dakota. For me, the biggest change after the flood was in the people. Yes, downtown got transformed. Yes, all the basements got scrubbed. But the biggest change is in the spirit of those who live there. Some dealt with minor hardship. Some dealt with shattering hardships. All came through it stronger. And its the people that I really do enjoy coming back to see. Especially on hockey weekends.

Thanks The Sicatoka. Love the story. What does it mean? Funny, but when I think of Buffy, I get a vision of someone like, say, Sarah Michelle Geller. When you think of Buffy, is it (by any chance?) a bunch of sweaty muscly guys? The great thing about Mankato is there's always thousands of tickets available. (Hint if you haven't been there before, its a U-shape, with the students on the bottom of the U and most Sioux fans on the tops of the U. Of course if you're feeling feisty, go sit by the students. I bring kids so we sit as far away as possible.)
