Ok, since I am a novice at this. . .is it possible to hook a laptop to your television to get the game on tv? (Can you use the S-Video port or am I way off base?) I know some of you have mentioned that you are able to do this and I was wondering how?

So, should they just have the Sioux start a man down, as inevitably at least one of those will wind up on the ice at some point!

This is obviously something that was missed by a LOT of people (granted, in a perfect world, the refs aren't supposed to miss anything, but....we have all watched the WCHA and know how THAT goes!). Most games I have witnessed, (where a too many men on the ice occurs) generally have, not only the opposing coaches SCREAMING at the officials, but the fans as well! I know it is not a sure fire bet, but usually that wakes an official up and makes them start counting.

The other thing that didn't help was that the Sioux were at home. This also prevented more games from being played at the REA. Not defending, just saying. Other years that the Sioux have been home, there were games held in the Olympic rink at REA. In my opinion, Purpur is a better rink to watch hockey than the Olympic rink for the fact that there is little to no seating in the Olympic rink. Again, just saying and just my opinion.

Century beat Bottineau 6-2. . . game was said to be much closer than the score indicated. From what I heard, I guess it got ugly, on Bottineau's part, at the end of the game when it became apparent that their season was over. Sounds like they had 2 thrown out. . . their goalie and another one I think.

Ok, I got my story straight. . . Bismarck beat Bottineau 8-1.

Minot beats Century 3-2 on a PP goal in OT.

Out of the West, in case anyone is interested. . . . I know Bismarck won, but my source was not for certain of the score, he thinks it was something like 9-1? Also, after 2 periods Minot and Century were tied at 2-2.
