If The Hockey News Newsletter is to be believed. . . .Turris will be playing the Coyotes' final three games and then will be heading back to Wisco to finish up his first year of school. Sounds like this is something that the Coyotes agreed to rather than to send him to San Antonio?

Wasn't quite sure where to put this, but sounds like the Blackhawks will, for the first time ever, televise their entire 82-game regular schedule on both cable and free television. Watching Toews just got a whole lot easier!! (They held a press conference, you don't suppose it was an April Fools' joke do you? )

I am hoping that a tremendous weight was lifted from their shoulders last weekend. . . can't even imagine how much pressure those guys have been under, having returned to try to win #8. Now that they are in the FF, here's hoping that they play their best hockey. . . .we have all seen it, just in spurts, not whole games. We know the heart/desire is there, that was proven in the 3rd and OT of the Wisco game! Let's go SIOUX!!! I for one can hardly wait to get to Denver!

Not sure about how many teams making 4 trips in a row. . . but I thought I heard them say that Hakstol was just the 3rd coach to make it 4 in a row in just his first 4 years of coaching.

Ok, I got goosebumps reading that article!! This really is a special group of young men. . . I too, hope they get their "Lionel Train"!!

We are driving too. I assume the Sioux will be the home team, so according to the NCAA schedule, they should be the team practicing from 12:15 pm to 1:15 pm. We went last year and it was fun to watch (gets you pumped up before the big day!). . . .there actually were quite a few people there. Also a good time to purchase your Frozen Four stuff before the crowds get too big (providing that they are open like they were in St. Louis.) I found it nice not to have to drag big bags around during/after the games.

We are at the Doubletree on Quebec. . . 9 miles from the Pepsi Center. We will be in Denver in time for the Sioux practice on Wednesday.

You could hear them warn the crowd on tv due to coins being thrown on the ice. They were told at least once that they home team would be assessed a penalty if it continued.

WOW - what a game! I was a bit concerned after goal #2 went in for Wisco! So much so, that I had to change my shirt. . . my whole family is extremely superstitious, as weird as it may be. Anyway, props to the Sioux players and coaches! This team has a mission and they showed that tonight (they just don't need to do it in the fashion that they did it tonight. . .my heart cannot take that again!) It's great to be a Sioux fan! 9 days until Denver!!!!! (We will be there with 20+ Sioux fans!!)
