i like Rick's post. i agree with all of it. i also agree with siouxnami that UM will be fine, but they seem to be losing more and more recruits to und and uw. add scsu into that as well. fact is there are plenty of great players in minny for several teams to be loaded, but i can guarantee that UM would like some of the recruits they lost(or didnt want ).

thats a nice compliment. i do think that und, minny, mich, and bc are also "the" measuring sticks.

anybody know who the new on campus goalie will be?

he will be awesome, i was really impressed from the clip i saw of him.

we need another goalie for practice and "just in case" our 2 get hurt. would we have to play one of our D or F guys? thats a question for everybody.

McKeen's released their list of the 1st round draft prospects. take note of Toews at 16. also, DU's Joe Colborne keeps chuggin' along...hes up to 12th on their list. wow.

i saw him too. he was a little bit shorter than jackson, and had fairly dark skin. anybody have any ideas? i just noticed him, not either of his parents.

i think that UND has a very good chance to land Budish. i should bring my binoculars to the games to see if its him. my vision sucks right now, so other people will want to check out these people too.

no, definitely not. i was thinking that there is a possibility(pure speculation on my part) that davidson could be moved to D for the 7 spot. But, assuming that doesnt happen, i like the idea of corbin McPherson coming in on D for 08...he has said he wants to play here. Budish is still my guess for the recruit (at Forward), but McPherson would be my second guess(assuming that nobody is changed to D from F). and another 2 cents... i think feinhage will probably come in 09, as he is slated to do. who knows.

yeah, i have noticed we could probably use another d guy for 08(unless somebody is switched to D...). im thinking budish, because he will be making his decision in the next few months for sure. EDIT: i was trying to remember...Corbin McPherson is a right D man (drafted 87th) for 08
