I enjoy coming here because it's nice to get a perspective on your opponent, plus it's nice to talk college hockey with some different folks. It seems the traffic is a lot more steady on SiouxSports, so when GPL is boring, I tend to come over here to chat a bit. You guys are college hockey freaks, and are somewhat civil, and although we are enemies, we have a lot in common... it makes sense to me. Oh, as for INCH's '06-'07 preliminary rankings... a little early, don't you think? Lots of squads still aren't sure what their rosters will look like by the beginning of next season, and although it's fun to speculate, I'm going to wait until the end of summer or beginning of fall to start worrying about rankings. That being said, they probably aren't too far off.

Kessle, Oshie, and Towes very well may have a shot at Hobey next year (assuming they all stay). Pavelski should have another great year too... too bad we won't be able to find out for an entire year! It's a good thing that final round (and most of the 3rd round!!) of The Masters is on today, or else this day would really suck. 6 months without college hockey = total bummer. Congratulations to Matt Carle!

Well, I'm not ashamed of my club either. It's a total bummer they ran out of gas at the end of the season and lost to Holy Cross, but they had a great season and were an absolute blast to watch. I think you guys are making this a much bigger deal than Gopher fans are!

Man, I'm totally going to watch. It could potentially be a very interesting game, and it'll be the last chance to see a college hockey game until October.

Here are the last six opponents the Gophs have defeated in the Holiday Classic championship game: 2005 - UMass-Lowell 2004 - Northern Michigan 2003 - New Hampshire 2002 - Boston College 2001 - Providence 2000 - Lake Superior State Some mediocre teams, but the program has done a pretty good job of inviting a quality team that produces an entertaining championship game. I really like our holiday tourney... we get the chance to see some different teams, which is always nice. I'm drawing a blank as to whether or not UND hosts a tournament at some point during the year, anyone care to enlighten me?

According to your own website, your career playoff stats are: 47-43, .897 save %, 3.04 GAA. Those aren't exactly stellar man. So what if you scored a goal once? Give it up, you freakin' sieve!

Sure..... I've never been a big Maine hockey fan, so it's tough for me to root for them. I would have been pulling for Wisco so we could see an all WCHA final, but now I'd rather see the Badgers go down...
