Interview with Bishop: Profanity is a little less from this elevation. UAA threw out a couple F-bombs last night. Chorney was just telling the refs how much he loved them and how much he loved their calls last night. Anchorage was like his second home... came up six/seven times a year. It was pretty funny because everyone is looking at the window at the moose. Darcy asked if he wanted to walk down the street to see the moose. Fairbanks is a lot colder, so this isn't bad for him. Parents, uncle, and few friends came down to see him. Parents are making a plan to make a trip in Jan/Feb to see the Ralph. Dad is excited to see the rink. I've given a pretty good description but it's something you've gotta see. North Dakota seemed like the right fit. Wanted to see some other places. North Dakota just seemed right. UAA and UAF both recruited him. Likes the atmosphere at the Ralph, being around the guys is fun. What happened last night? Good question. UAA came out more ready and more hungry. Didn't get any bounces or breaks last night. Hopefully we got everything worked out for tonight... Gets to sit with his family and friends tonight

I think it's time for some of our forwards to step up. Yes, we have had our fair share of goaltending problems recently, but we need the forwards to step up too. If we score more than we let in, we still win... so lets start putting it in!!! LETS GO BOYS! Show them what REAL Fighting Sioux hockey is, because last night was not it

I realize the seriousness in your post... but I'm going to comment anyway. I would LOVE to see an open air stadium. I think the Sioux should play at least one game a year at Memorial Stadium... I think it would be a blast. Although at the same time, I am from Wisconsin, used to the Packers... and I go to games at Lambeau in December... oh well.... it would still be cool and I hope it actually does happen!

I was there too. And the crowd that was there wasn't handled very well. I understand that the NCAA has their rules, and things change with the playoffs but it was just dumb. They forced the students outside of the 30 yard line in sections 212 and 211. For the entire game the front eight rows of section 213 (around the 30-40 yard line) were almost completely empty. Whenever students would try to move into those seats they would be kicked out and eventually a security guard was placed in the first row with the sole intention of keeping students out. It seems like the students are a huge part of getting the crowd in the game, and by shoving them in a corner, you're going to make it quieter than usual.

I know it's still early in the season... but any chance we'll see some black jerseys tomorrow?

Hak: They played well. We had 13 or 14 that played reasonable well. We're not gonna lay it on Anthony... it's a team issue. There are several we'd like to have back. Can count five people that did not play well. Too many guys with a good shift, then a bad shift. Coming off a week off, there is no excuse for that. Poor faceoffs is not a good place to start. Thought we did some good things shooting from the outside... we need to move the puck two or three times before we find the shooting lanes. When we find the shooting lanes, get them to the net. Think we would have been right there if we got one on the power play at the start of the first. Lawson made good saves in the third. Gotta be quicker on a lot of things. Very sparatic... not good. Poor first pass creates tough night for yourself. Lot of things to talk about and learn from. Tomorrow night is a must perform night. Starts with the guy in the pipes, whoever it is...

What if we can't come up with three stars for the Sioux? Or is it three stars between both teams...

I vote we put Phil on a plane now... he can make it by tomorrow...

I don't even know what all we need to fix... These games are the worst.... where you can't even pick out what the worst part is (open net goal). The lack of defending, the poorly timed penalties, the poor pass, what appears to me as a lack of physics play, poor goaltending, power play is missing, second period woes... Wow... that was a lot of Ps We'd better have a serious change tomorrow!

Why are they playing "Hey Hey Hey Goodbye" ?!? Last I checked there was another game tomorrow...
