Just an interesting fact. I can't rememeber what i was reading but it was either the st. paul newspaper, or the hokcey program and it listed grant potulny from Grand Forks, MN. I found that really funny.

I know the whole sotry on this. Blais didn;t even call or do nothing to the older potulny which made there dad and family pretty mad because he thoguth he should be recruited because of his skill level. Htne the younger one came around and was recrutied hard, i mean really hard by blais, but blais made the mistake on not recruiting IRmen as well and Ryan and Irmen siad they wanted to go to the same college and UM recruited both so UM got the potulny. I suspect though that the older potulny playing for UM had a role n the younger going there too but i guess we missed out.

I only saw a couple signs thrown on the ice but so did the grafton fans as well so you can't only blame Red River. Oh yeh, did you notice what happen after Red River scored? Kringsted took the puck and shot it at the Red River players as they were celebrating in the middle of the ice. Good display of sportsmanship there. Also, that kringstad is one of the biggest babys i have ever seen to play. He freaked out at the end and was shaken all the players hand really unsportmsnlike too. the coahces had to calm him down. He also hit the glass with his stik a couple of times too. I heard that kringstad has a couple of kids but that could be jsut a rumor.

I agree with you. I was at the game, had a perfect view of Kringstad of GPR and it was clear that the opposing RR guy was in the crease. Talked to a few game officials and they agreed. Even Coach Haugland argued it. Oh well, BY THE WAY...Red River students need to control theirselves. They are way too offensive. I saw that last night as they were screaming at Kringstad. Please, game administration, do something!

man, that was just a great high school hockey game!! Both teams playted great wiht the better team winning but grafton hung in there. Both had good crowds. The Red River student section was loud as eer and pretty full. They seem like a little sioux student crowd wiht teh sieves and the chants and penalty box chant to. I heard they got warned though for being to obnouxious but i guess only 2 peopel were kicked out. Should be a great championhip game tomorrow and hopefully grand forks will win another championship.

i dont know for sure they will be back. They are moving to the east region next year so.... looks like another all east semifinals o well atleast the west tried.

I too was at the game and i must say it was a good game for both sides. Each time is very even in my opinion..Did they quit giving sportsmanship awards for the region tournament or is that alwasy been state and they didnt name a east region tournament MVP but i guess we all know who that would of been. I belive it ouwld of been Marc Milhulka, cant say enough about this kid 3 straight hat tricks and one against the the 2nd best team in the state (Fargo South). BTW why do they call him ten bears or did i hear wrong. Who do you guys think would of been the tournament MVP? Im surprised there wasnt that many people there for south but i guess the drive is jsut too exepnsive with gas. Also i was talkin to some security guards who I believe are beign told to take the fun out of cheering. THey told me they took away 5 cow bells on thursday and 3 air horns too. All of these though were tookin from the Red River student section. I thought the refs made some bad calls but i guess they cant make all the calls and i bellieve those peopel who say the Ref's favor GFRR are saying lies but it looekd to me liek tehy were on the side of FArgo South but that just could be me. Looks like theres gunna be an all east region semi's this year again and maybe even a all GF final again for which im hoping for cuase of all the poepel that go to the games. I remeber last year they had to oepn up the top seating becuase of so many poeple were coming in.

man o man i was at the Red River-West fargo game last nite. I have to say that was one of the more physical hockey games i have been to in purper besides the RR and GFC games. Kids were going back inforth at each other. One kid would knock another down and that kid got up and went after the kid that hit him dow. Tempers were falrin and i thoguth there was gunna be a fight but there was almost one between mahulka and another kdi but the refs were quick to break it up. RR jsut overpowered WF in every aspect of the game. RR is on fire right now and id watch out.
