  1. I never saw the new site...only the new logo. The link was http://siouxsports.com/construction.htm.
  2. jimdahl I haven't had a chance to look at every nook and cranny but so far I like the changes...thanks for all the work that you do. BTW...when can I buy a t-shirt with the new logo?
  3. Doesn't everone?
  4. Did everyone see the new logo just now?
  5. Yes...but I am not sure that jimdahl wants me to post the link.
  6. jimdahl I saw a brief glimpse of the new SiouxSports.com logo...it looks good. How much for the t-shirt? GO SIOUX
  7. Sell out.

  9. If Nike (or its co-founder) wanted to give me a $100 million I would wear whatever they wanted...just not this football uniform.
  10. It looks like the University of Oregon is closer to obtaining its $213.5 million basketball arena. If constructed it would be the most expensive university owned arena in the country. The University of Louisville will apparently play in a $250 million facility but it will be owned by the city. Knight's $100 million gift to bankroll Oregon athletics fund - espn.com

  14. I can already hear the distant thundering...the next 5 years is going to be painful for some.
  15. College Sports Report Someone needs a hug.
  16. Donovan Alexander is this week's Friday Feature. A few select comments and quotes: GO SIOUX!
  17. Results from the annual college beauty contest are out: UND is once again a Tier 3 school.
  18. I believe Scott R. Maier has made a mistake...the Grand Forks Herald is not a metropolitan newspaper.

  20. Recently, I saw something either online or in print (UND Alumni Review?) that talked about innovative ways to fund scholarships as we transition to DI. The article talked about an individual or a group being able to fund a scholarship for a particular sport or even a particular position (for example left tackle). The cost was $15,000 per year for 5 years (transitional period). Who would be willing to commit to a SiouxSports.com Scholarship? 30 SiouxSports.com members = $500/yr 50 SiouxSports.com members = $300/yr 100 SiouxSports.com members = $150/yr 250 SiouxSports.com members = $60/yr First...we would need permission from jimdahl to use the SiouxSports.com name. Second...we would need to pick a sport and possibly a specific position to fund. Third...we would need real commitments from forum members. Comments? Suggestions? GO SIOUX
  21. I believe all 8 autobids are already spoken for so even if the GWFC were eligible for an autobid there are none available. It will certainly make it more difficult for the GWFC to pick additional members given the moratorium...USD (San Diego) may be the only one.
  22. We were the last ones through the door but we are still in...GO SIOUX.

    Recruiting

IIRC...NDSU would bring in high school athletes to visit campus and take a look around. The student athletes are not considered recruits so all expenses are paid for by the student. Think of it as a summer field trip to Bisonville on your own dime.
  24. I seem to remember another board that created a new forum specifically to "keep this crap out of the other threads". It backfired. Personally...I vote against a "Political Forum". Nothing inflames people faster than politics, religion or the Bison.
  25. I believe they will be rejoining the GNAC.
