    Well, we certainly got outplayed tonight. Only a week after some of the worst puck luck ever (vs Miami), we catch a break.

    Which brings me to my point: I cannot remember ever winning an NCAA tournament game in which we were decidedly outplayed yet won. We've certainly outplayed other teams and lost (most notable recent game Michigan 2011) a lot of times.

    Can anyone else think of an occurrence?

    I think it will be interesting to see how low the percentage of picks having UND winning it all is this year compared to previous years. I think the majority of the fan base is glad we made the tournament and have a chance, but they don't believe that to be a very big chance. Add in all those who are superstitious and have picked UND every year in the past decade and now feel that they are jinxing them by doing that.

    I am going to set the over/under at 67% pick the Sioux to win it all.

    I am taking the under.

          The Wisconsin/Ohio State game sways Minn-States RPI enough to drop them below us. Miami has to beat Denver as if Denver wins, it lowers our RPI and swings it back the other direction.

    I'm happy that I have the opportunity to be upset by the loss tonight. This team left EVERYTHING on the ice EVERY night, tonight was no exception.

    If the Knight/Kristo/Nelson line returns as well as Forbort and McWilliam, watch out cause we are going to be a FORCE next year.

    Well played period by both teams. They were fortunate to get the goal, but we are getting chances. We'll bury ours and this game will go down to the wire.

    Agreed that those were 2 weak calls v UND, we'll see if they call em the same way against the Gophers.

    Moy hasn't missed predicting a NCAA bracket since 2004 I believe. UND is the lowest of the 4 #1 seeds and some #1 seed has to go to St.Paul and any of the higher #1 seeds would whine like crazy if they got shipped to St. Paul. The X has become the Ralph 2.0 within the state of hockey the last few years. If UND is to make the Frozen Four I wouldn't want it any other way than by ending the Gopher's season if the teams were to meet in the regional final. We were in Denver a few years back for the last regional final these two met in and it was crazy fun. Next Sunday at the X could be off the hook and something to be witnessed only by those not faint of heart.

    I'm not so sure he's nailed the bracket/matchups, but he has nailed the teams in the tournament every year. Here is a snippet from his blog
