Yeah, just like Jeff Frazee. Was anticipating the end of the period against St. Cloud and let in a goal. Only difference is that, that goal didn't count cause time already expired. None the less though Jeff Frazee is a much bigger sieve!
Great weekend for the Sioux. The sweep was long overdue.
Now it's the Mankato Purple People Eaters. Always ends up being an interesting series when the Sioux play the Mavs. Probably going to be a chock full of chippy-ness.
GO SIOUX!!
I know I should probably ask Tech fans but did Michael-Lee Teslak get injured? I've been looking at CollegeHockeyStats and the past few series there other goalie Rob Nolan has been playing. Which I'm totally fine with seeing Nolan instead of Teslak.
Hopefully the Sioux can play 2 strong games and earn a sweep.
GO SIOUX!!
Once again the Sioux choke away a game they could've won. This is just getting really annoying plus frustrating to watch. At times they look like stars and then another moment just completely clueless and dumbfounded.
Very disappointing finish. The Sioux choke away a game and once again fail to sweep at home. We're not going to get anywhere if they are just going to keep splitting with every team. Right now there really isn't anything special about this team but hopefully they can start picking things up. Still pretty mad though that they lost this one in which they definitely had in there grasp to win.
You should've heard the DU announcers they were whining about all the penalties against the Pioneers in the first.
Definitely the refs had made some weak penalty calls for both sides today.
That sucks because the quality of the feed is pretty damn good even at full screen. And had no freeze ups or anything. It's the first feed that I've never had problems with.
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thought the USCHO column of the WCHA isn't good. I've always read them in the past but now I really find no reason to even read them anymore.
I do agree this years GVSU team isn't as the same caliber of the team they fielded last year. If they play against Nebraska-Omaha I see UNO getting the win whether or not it's going to be close or not I'll let the players decide that.
Either way I'll be cheering for the NCC team!
This game at least showed that GVSU isn't invincible. I won't be surprised to see them lose any future playoff game. It's to bad we didn't win but it's time to move on.
GO SIOUX!!
Wow we are truly getting outplayed by GV once again. If our offense can't even muster any productivity at all then we don't deserve to win. I mean it's pathetic that we are struggling to even get into field goal range.
Hopefully we can make an attempt to get back into the game but if not then I'll be cheering for our NCC counterpart UNO to win it all.
I'm glad theres hockey.
The offense needs to start clicking and Freund needs to get his act together. Needs to gain some confidence he's playing like he did against Nebraska-Omaha.
