  1. Unbelievable!!! or perhaps it is!!

The second period told the story....

after killing off what seemed like 100 straight penalites against them, the sioux came right back and put another 2 between the pipes. That period was a tale of how there season has been.

Including myself for a while....nobody was giving this team a break early on, but they have perservered, and have come charging back....HUGE!

That first part of the second period was a joke! I think it was 7 straight penalty kills by the sioux.....and stopped BC cold! Certainly cant say that BC was given a chance....they had it, but they ran into a sioux team with Parise at the helm.

Simply an awsome performance! Have a few more beers to finish, then off to bed to see what the Boston globe has to say about the WCHA and the Sioux tomorrow.

    WAY TO GO SIOUX!!

  2. Not to mention that its only the prompt medical attention of the EMT's at the rink there rushing him off to a nearby hospital there is what may be the young man's chance of not being a paraplegic right now. Being that the injury took place right at the C7, he could have easily suffered a spinal cord injury. In that area, he could also have impaired function of his hands and arms, not to mention that he would be in a wheel chair for most of his foreseeable life. The only good thing about it at C7 is that its not high enough to affect his respitory at all if damage did happen to occur to his spinal cord, but again, being right there in the Cities and probably near a hospital, he would have been treated with the medicines that can counteract the cascade that can occur in the spinal cord to cause perminate damage.

Good Luck Robbie with your recovery.

In Reality....it is Mark Poolman who deserves alot of the credit and not the EMT's. The athletic trainer for UND hockey has been there for years and is a top notch trainer for them, and it was his call to not move Bina and bring in the physician and the EMT's.

Great Job to Mark fo an on the ice evaluation!

Just putiing the credit to where the credit is due!

  3. Great to see ND a #2 seed as there level of play as of lately deserved it....but they are where they are b/c it took a while to get on track.

But just think...if your BU would you want to play the Sioux right now? Especially with their level of play being the best it has all year?

And YEAH...How the Hell did MN get a #1 seed? They have played very poor as of lately, not to mention the 14 losses? But I bet it has more to do with that they are hosting that region than anything else.

I do hope it is a rematch of the WCHA finals...with all 4 teams making it. Lets show the US where the best hockey is played!

  4. These a-hole announcers wont even acknowldege that the hit on Bina was called an for a penalty, not to mention it should have been a Major.

I hope we can blank these goophers......and shut these guys up!!!
