Was looking for a collared shirt to wear to work and found that Dick's has this polo for $25. I wish the logo had the white outline but I didn't want to spend $60. First ever game delay due to sun? Also, interesting thing happened... With about ten minutes left in the other game a 'crowd control ' staff member came up to our section and asked if we were UND players, apparently three were missing. :-)

Considering this is an 8 point game in the fourth quarter, I'm surprised by the negativity. Sure, it's never fun giving up easy yards but when you realize this team has 85 full scholarship players and many of them up for individual awards this season, I feel like a team coming out of the transition is doing well. Have we hurt ourselves? Absolutely. Should anyone be any less excited for the rest of the season? I don't understand why you would.

Sioux Football insider prediction I hope they're right. I love the white over black that was popular pre-2007 and with the added green stripes I think they will help the green in the numbers pop. So excited!

I could be wrong... that's just my guess. They have adjusted the helmet color to better match the green, eliminating that problem with the green ones. We'll see.

Since the jersey conversation has drifted over here... I'm 95% sure we will see black jersey's before the Montana game. UND doesn't have the budget for alternate jersey games like you see at the Bowl Championship level. The jerseys are simply delayed in arrival so likely won't be on display until the 2nd or 3rd game. With the distaste for the current uni's - they will wear the new ones as soon as they get in.

I think the black helps to alleviate some of the trouble of matching greens on the helmets and jerseys. Also, I noticed on 'Through These Doors' the hockey team pretty much all said they like their blacks best. I know football players have wanted black jerseys for years. And back as far as I can remember prior to 2008, black pants on the road were standard (with a few exceptions i.e. GVSU 2005).

Thoughts?

I'm nomally a fan of green jerseys and black pants at home but with all the talk of grey on here and after seeing pictures of the old jerseys with grey pants and helmets I thought I'd try mixing a little tradition with some new templates and see if I could make something that might keep the traditionalist happy and the players, students, and recruits excited. I can't say I love it and I know grey isn't in any of the current uniforms but . . . thoughts?
