If anyone cares, there are four sioux athletes competing at the National Track Meet in California. I've seen a few articals on the the GFH and on the news about them.

They've already lost 3 girls that verbally committed to UND now onto BSU.

Yes because all these coachs have been doing this causeing drama this year. Heard from a friend that one of the starters (a senior), who had been starting since her freshman year and has earned all-conference every year got kicked off the team last week. Yes there is a reason behind it; but I don't believe its a reason to kick her off. Another issue has been the coaches didn't play some of best players for their positons because the coaches heard from someone else that a couple of the girls weren't coming back next year; so the coach decides not to play them-- until one of the girls calls bring it up to the coach and the coach heard that rumor and went with it-- when the girl brought it up- she got playing time again. ALot of it is dumb drama and that shouldn't be brough to this level.

I know we live here in North Dakota but this past weekend a game was played in the "mini Ralph." It easily could of been the state championship game for AA. Moorhead/Roseau. Moorhead had beat Roseau with a combined score of 10-2 throughout there two games in the season. The rams came up with the victory, 1-0. With Erik Fabian being on the Sioux team (and other former Ram players have played for the sioux) I wanted to put out a congratulations to the rams and happy healings to his brother (Jason). He broke his foot in 2 spots and litterly crawled of the ice so another team member could get out to play D.

Blais never coached girls hockey at Roseau. I believe he coached the boys in the late 80s or 90s.

Gophers won. I could only watch the first half it was so bad. Towards the end of the first half the turnover count was 9-8 with bision leading.

i'm sure he relized he didnt have much of a chance playing behind the other PG or what not.

Heard a couple weeks ago and had conformation of it today in the Roseau times Region Former Roseau Rams hockey coach and BSU womens coach and also coached the womens team here at UND is now the Warroad high school boys hockey coach!!!

I was visiting with a friend of the players a couple nights ago.. sounds like we are loseing more than just sparky.. if he is leaving, i have no conformation on that. my friend said 3 juniors, 1 sophmore, and most likely 2 freshman will all be departing after the season!!! IF this happens, i dunno. I know that nothing is a forsure deal until the paper work is done, but dont be suprised!

Just heard word that it is infact both his ACL and MCL....I wish I could see the hit on video if anyones got it!

Partically torn MCL...out 3-6 weeks. Thats what i heard anyways, didnt talk to spirko but talked to some insiders.

Looks like the womens volleyball team is on there way, a 2-1 start..not bad considering last year, how it ended that is. So far they lost to Moorhead state, who is normally ranked inthe Nation. They beat, U Minn Crookston and upper Iowa. nice work Ladies.

JAke BRandt graduated with Honors & i know he has pulled 4.0's off. I'd guess he is one since he didnt play much he had alot of time to study...

I would think everyone would get more pissed if they split the seating. If you seperate all the students, some will be by the old people..they will get pissed because the students are doing what they are suppose to be doing, "cheering." Some other students will sit by people with baby's and kids..and that will be the same kind of problem, "to loud." So i dont think it will help to split them up. Remeber, it is a college sports teams, the kids have a right to be rowdy and crazy!!! Keep on Cheering students!!

Brandt 99.9% will not, He's already looking for jobs. I'm sure many of the hockey players- any age, arnt going to many classes. I'm sure there having a drinking fest.
