  1. just trying to forget the real reason I'm here hey AZSioux want to come to a wake tomorrow? It's at a bar.
  2. Hey everyone, I'm coming to you wasted from Denver... didn't get to go to the game but watched the game on TV... I drank too much to pay much attention. I may/may not go tomorrow. However, I did run into SiouxJoy on the airplane!
  3. OMG we are section 119, row 23, seat 18 & 19. So I'll definitely be seeing you!
  4. Trust me, I would rather miss the game and not have to go to Colorado. But yes, I will find you at the FF. Got your tickets yet?
  5. He was on my All-WCHA Hottie Team last year
  6. If you squint, he does look a little like Randy Quaid. I wish you were still going to Denver, because now I am! I need some good hockey to take my mind off the real reason I'm going to Denver. I'll either be watching on TV or maybe going to one of the games w/my mom.
  7. You should really consider a career change. The guy who does the sound at the DECC is pretty cool. Esp. when he plays Journey's "Don't Stop Believing"
  8. Shouldn't this thread be "Congratulations Kessel?" I think it's great for Jordy (at the expense of my Dogs) but I think it's even better for Duncan! Sure, he didn't win it, but it's an honor just to be nominated... Seriously, it was good (from my green-colored lenses side) to see him have a good weekend! Way to go Ryan!
  9. Yeah but all that dude does is talk about men's hockey.
  10. I'm talking about TJ. Prpich is all yours.
  11. He's much cuter without his helmet on. His hair really adds to his overall cuteness.
  12. These pictures are boring! They're all of Sioux players!
  13. Well, it's over, and I can go back to cheering for the Sioux! At least we didn't get shut out. Well, he IS the strength training coach, not the head coach, so it's not really his job to figure out why we're not winning. However, he is a terrific strength and conditioning coach. Watch what he does with some of our skinny guys in the next few years, i.e. Mason Raymond. I would say the Dogs' best player is Mason Raymond, and I would say their leader is Matt McKnight. If he isn't wearing the C next year, I'll be confused. Gergen is great but has a bit of a temper, Andrew Carroll is a hard worker. What happened to Tim Stapleton? Chug-a-lug. If anyone wants to give me their thoughts on the 'Dogs players, I'd like to hear them. You can PM me if you want, as I'm probably the only one interested. God, I need to move to Duluth and get season tickets. Then I can see for myself.
  14. 44! That's almost as old as my parents!
  15. Me and Sioux-cia sitting together at a hockey game... now that's a recipe for getting thrown out! I have some other ticket offers, but unfortunately I had to work. If I'd planned ahead of time, of course, I would have taken the time off. I guess there was one person booing Ziggy (Goon), but while he let in some easy goals and apparently spent most of the night wondering where the puck was, I'll let some of it go because he hasn't played in forever. We'll see for next year.
  16. Oh, I was just referring to a game where Isaac was in net and we did win a game, in response to your last sentence, that the Sioux have won every game where he has played. I wasn't referring to the past game in November, where he played horribly.
  17. I thought there might be some bad blood. Glad to see there wasn't. Rumor has it he might have more of a chance of playing next year than was originally thought, as one of our current goalies is graduating and one other one may very well not be returning. I STILL think I should have gone to these games instead of UMDDogz!!!!!
  18. Well, at least Ziggy kept it from being embarrassing. I was driving home from work (freezing my heiney off) dreading a 7-1 box score. Although if we'd gotten a goal, it would be nice. 1 question: did people boo or cheer Ziggy?
  19. No hard liquor in the house, so I'm having a Bass, just for you. Cheers!
  20. Is it over yet? Just got home from work. Am I drunk or is Ziggy playing?
  21. He should play for New Jersey
  22. Well, I think THAT explains it...
  23. While you are mostly right, my friend (and you will see me saying the same thing in many previous posts on this board and tPB), I must rebut with this http://www.collegehockeystats.net/0405/boxes/mmndndk1.d11
  24. MafiaMan! Finally, your broomball skills will come in handy! NDH, you're saying what I've been saying. Don't look past the Bulldogs, or it'll come back to haunt you. Maybe we're having a rough year, maybe we've struggled to get some wins from the Sioux in the past, but we have beaten CC, Maine, Cornell, Minnesota, and Wisconsin (although without Elliott.) What we did last week, 2 weeks ago, 2 years ago, forget that. If the Sioux bring it for 120 minutes we have no chance. It's not that I doubt my team, but I know what your team can do. My thoughts: Offensively, the 'Dogs have some strong weapons, so do the Sioux. Both teams have players that are great, but inconsistent. It depends on who is hot and who is not. Defensively, both teams are young and have some weaknesses, but the advantage is yours. Goaltending has been more consistent for you guys. Isaac is good and even great at times, but if he has an off night, 7 or 8 goals go in. And your "#2" guy doesn't pull himself from games, so that's good. Ziggy, anyone? But even if we got killed both nights, I'll still be wishing I was there. It's just part of being a Bulldogs fan.
  25. You people know that Sioux-cia is my mentor, right?
