Wow, looks like there are a lot of fans that have given up on this team. I figured w/ no TV or video webcast (and apparently no audio wecast either), this place would be really busy.

Who runs the equipment for the audio link? Alumni association or athletic dept.?

Worked great for me last night here in the TC metro (90 cm dish, I believe). Quality, when I checked it, was ~60%. Only problem I had was the result of the &#$^ game.

Quit being a tool. You don't like Hak. WE GET IT!!! The boys can't score, period. They create plenty of chances, but can't finish. This was the case at the end of last year with Deano at the helm, and with Zach and Bo on the team. I ain't saying Hak is coach of the year, but he can't go out there and do it for them either. It's frustrating as hell when for a couple years we had goaltending problems yet we could score at will, now we've got great goaltending, but can't score. How 'bout a happy (%W$*&^($ medium, please. My impressions of the game: Sioux played hard, CC played smart: Sioux worked like hell, but CC never really gave the Sioux any space, especially in front of the net.

I strongly disagree. Woog has flat out stated, on the air, more than once, that Sioux players get phantom assists at home. For this alone, he has zero credibility as an announcer. If I were running the REA, his fat arse would never get through the door to a Sioux home game ever again.

Only by taking 4 at CC can the Sioux prove to me that they're going somewhere this year. It's time to step up and turn it around. I don't give a rat's ass who they are playing, where they're ranked, where they're playing or who the goltender is, and neither should they. They can do it. They just need to play aggressively on the big ice for once, and finish their checks against a CC team that doesn't like the physical stuff. And as The Sicatoka says, the Sioux can score. Oh, and yes my opinion does matter to them. It is to them what a mother's love is to a child.

I think that it is highly likely that the reason given above is BS, but I'm willing to let those more knowledgeable about these issues make the definitive determination. Psb, Iceberg?

The problems, IMHO: 1. Not playing as a team. (ever heard of puck support?) 2. Total lack of intensity 3. Often not smart with the puck. (too many poor passes in UND's zone that end up on the opposition's stick; not enough skating the puck out when they have the chance). I hope these issues get taken care of in practice. I hope Hak sits underperformers and if necessary just goes wilth a short bench. I like JPar as a goalie, but with the team struggling on offense, he can't give any away and he's been warned of his wandering repeatedly. After MSU-M's 3rd goal he should have been pulled in order to emphasize past instruction. This team would benefit immensely from studying Team Canada's recent WJ games. Yes they were talented, but they NEVER took a shift off, and they played UNBELIEVABLE team hockey.

A bigger dish should not be necessary. They just NEED TO TURN UP THE DAMN POWER. The person at the Ralph responsible really need to lose their job. This is just stupid, especially when they're selling sat systems that WON'T WORK WITH THE SIGNAL THEY'RE SENDING OUT!!!!
