This and several other games the last few years were winnable IF we had confidence in kicking FGs. You cannot be a confident winning program in todays game wo a reliable kicker. Period. UND has missed oppty after oppty to win or take a lead in games early for as long as I can remember. Playing FB wo kicking FGs is like wrestling with both hands tied behind you. Terrible handicap both in scoring and in decision making.

I think he is going to be very good. Just not there this year. Some game experience a year ago would have been wise. He's maturing fast, but his OC isn't helping much.

Yes, I agree. That punt block set the tone for the rest of the game and inspired the coyotes. Coaches should have noted how long he was taking in the previous games and getting away with it....except once....the game before. Do we learn nothing?
