  1. Usually this originates from a lazy coaches pet with a big mouth and sometimes you get what you deserve.

    Who is QB1?

It’s gonna be interesting watching the competition between the two. Good problem to have to a point.

    Who is QB1?

How did you all do predicting QB1 from August to November last year?

    Who is QB1?

JTJ, Romfo, Kaminsky and Sulik. Kaminsky and Sulik will be a coin flip with Sulik being younger getting the most upside chances.
  5. Most ends/edge will move in to DT as needed. The 3-4 big DT’s will stay inside though. Depth isn’t great but not bad if no injuries. There will be young guys in the mix for depth. Blegen was as effective as anyone last year.
  6. Most likely.

  8. Exactly. Other than bizarre bad luck 6-7 games should be easy almost blow out wins every single year. Add 2-3 more good wins should be the minimal expectation.
  9. Has UND ever had a new football and hockey coach before in the same athletic year?
  10. Offense is basically set. Rotate a few receivers perhaps. QB1 couldn’t lose job last year after being chosen off of 5 yard passes in practice. Defense last years starters and the new transfers you can plug in. Leaves a few spots left open. Please don’t break my heart and follow through with real competition for spots everyday until January.
  11. Sounded like lingering injury.
  12. Teiken was the main one and couple others left. He was the only close to starter I believe. There isn’t much being said after them. Just with the current landscape in football it would be unlikely any of the 1-2 deep finding a new home unless more transfers are brought in on D and scholarships are cut and a player doesn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. The roster is plenty big but most spots aren’t super deep and anyone that’s a backup is only one injury away.
  13. Johnson is coming in for one reason and one spot at QB1. Last year sure was odd to watch. I think Simon is two or 3 at the lowest if healthy. I can see Higgins being in the mix if he stays at QB.
  14. We will see. I think with same OC and experience he stays and gets the 2nd nod. Scholarship or not there really is no where for anyone on the bubble to go. A few players have left the team the past few weeks that were on scholarship so it does make room for transfers. Someone on here or somewhere did the scholarship math a while ago.
  15. I think a book could be written about it. It’s been a crazy last 5-10 years for UND athletics.
