I hope I’m wrong, but I dont see Kraft as a contributor for this team next year. Now depending on what happens with the portal we could see some guard minutes open up and definitely need the shooting help, but im just worried defensively. He still has all summer to get better and stronger to handle the physicality of the D1 level so hopefully he can do that.

Tommy Ahneman was a problem tonight in the state semifinals! The thing that really impressed was his motor and the effort he played with. Definitely am a fan of his 28 points 17 rebounds 11 of those were O boards

I wasn’t able to watch the game but just from the box score it’s interesting to see Sather only went 7 deep today and the bench had 4 total points. How was Eli King tonight? Doesn’t show that he did much statistically but he at least defend and make some plays?

I know I’ve mentioned it and others have as well but looking to push in transition or even just pushing the pace more often may help with that.

Interesting stat I just saw UND is dead last in the Summit in 3point FG% with 30.0% (138-456) but is 3rd in opponent 3 point FG% with 33.2% (110-331). Not a big difference percentage wise but how much we settle for 3s vs the teams we play is crazy. Shooting about 8 more 3s than our opponents, clearly a change in our motion or even just players mindset of getting to the rim needs to happen in this second half of the season.

If we don’t include Eaglestaff UND is shooting 27% (92/323) from 3 this year.
