Love that they have a big test this weekend. I’m anxious to see how Poolman and Wolanin handle playing against Borgstrom’s line. I think the reason Borgstrom is still in college is to work on the defensive part of his game. Guy doesn't like to chase the puck in his end at all.

Wish Luke Johnson still had eligibility and the Heavy Line could suit up this weekend to play against Borgstrom' s line. Western gave every team the ingredients to beat Denver. Hit them, take chances, and frustrate them into penalties (score on those power plays too). If you play conservative you will lose. Attack mentality...... roll tribe.

They have a decision to make if Cam is 100 percent.

Thoughts: ~Huge first period for Thome. Team was flat, and he held his own with some big stops and kept it tied. ~Gersich and Jones both with great nights. Maybe they don't play on the same line to spread the wealth a bit. Right now Jones might be the team's most valuable player with what he does in all areas. ~I think it will click eventually with Gooch. Got to remember what he did for his team last year playing every one of his shifts against a certain Nick Jones in the BCHL finals. ~Nice to win when they don't play their best game.
