Lost a ton of respect for Monty. Saying anything about that crap officiating being good is a joke. And he knows it.

The NCHC claims the officials are graded and that the director of officiating is thorough in reviewing their work. Just watched replay of the game and I can’t believe that happened. If the page just gets turned on that one then we do have the worst officiating system in place in college hockey. Five minute majors need to be reviewed before a decision is made to remove a player from the game. I went slow motion on Smith’s and if Plante doesn’t fall after running into UND’s iron man champ I don’t think it even gets called.

He's becoming the Marco Hunt of the NCHC. Saw enough of his games last year to really dislike his style.

Can't stand how they let Denver's coach decide how they were going to officiate the game. TH said it best about Sheepturd at the end.....rabbit ears staring at UND bench.

I can see a 2 on Smith, but a five is garbage there. No way. That is terrible officiating.

I can’t wait to see them actually call that penalty the way it’s written. Talk about a coach going nuclear with a “drop the bleeping puck” tirade. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a second center thrown out to be honest with you. Seems like when they throw a center for either team out there is more encroachment on the second time around.

I believe his wife just had a baby so he won’t have many good nights sleeps for a while.

Thoughts: -Great team win. All sorts of guys rowing the boat tonight after a bad start. -Book is out on Jaillet. Shoot high. Really fought the puck. Surprises the heck out of me. -Reminded me of Western beating Denver. You are going to get scored on regardless. Sitting back just doesn't work against that team. -Simonsons line was huge. Deserved to be out there with under 3 left. - Will find out a lot more about the group tomorrow with a pissed off Denver who is going to get challenged by Montgomery.
