  1. I'm not sure what we'll be looking for in the portal. I don't think that T is big enough, especially on the defensive side of the ball, to consistently match up with the better 5s in the league. I also don't think he's mobile or skilled enough to slide to the 4. I think they'll have to try find a 4 and roll with T and hope that Matthews can get healthy and take a big step forward next year.
  2. I literally do not care who the coach is. Just win. And if you don’t win, at least be entertaining
  3. I think the most negative thing I’ve said today is “Some interesting reactions from formers players”. Really laid it on Sather. Some harsh comments from Hoopsfan03, I mean McBuckets, I mean GoodGood
  4. The hero we didn’t know we needed!
  5. A lot of you never played college athletics and it shows. I once had a coach tell a kid who never had a dad in his life “I’m your daddy now”. That coach will probably be in the hall of fame at that school and is loved in the community. College athletics is nasty behind closed doors
  6. One time Gopher commit
  7. I’ll give it some more time but as of now I do not see a single player that played for Sather at UND liking the tweet. Treysen is the only current player that has
  8. Go to Bisonville and look. Large portion of posters on there believe so
  9. I think I saw him hanging out with Ja Morant…
  10. I’m not sure why one players comments matter more than another??? Some players might have good things to say, others not so much.
  11. Some interesting reactions from former players. Hopefully the next couple of years are better than the last 4
  12. Agree. Really bad matchup for them
  13. Funny you ask, he was just offered by Ottawa University which is historically one of the top NAIA programs in the country (Beat Denver in the 21-22 season, a team UND lost to twice, once by 20 points) . Then a few days later gets offered by UMKC and UND. Almost like the top NAIA schools are close to bottom D1 schools. Also I guess we just make fun of synergy now. Not like every college team in America doesn't use it. Anyway, staying on topic, could be a Matt Norman replacement. Shot 44% from 3 on almost 8 attempts a game. Also looked like he had some sneaky athleticism in his highlights.
  14. Is there a way so I can turn on notifications for when @HoopsFan03and @McBuckets post? I’d like to see when they do so I can give myself plenty of time between their posts. Or maybe I will want to buy into this conspiracy theory and only post directly after them! Hopefully I’m logged into GoodGood for this post. That would be embarrassing to get caught with my other burner accounts!! Now can we please have a real basketball discussion like we were when talking about potential transfers
  15. I love how we were having a legit conversation about 3 potential transfers that would all be great gets for UND and then you come in trying to spin it in some negative connotation. It’s awesome! Keep being you!
  16. I think for one season he would be the top guy. Maybe two years of the other guys would be a better plan. I think Mason is considered the best player in the NAIA. As a sophomore he held his own against a 7 footer named EJ Onu from Shawnee State. EJ has played the last several years in the G League and received serious draft consideration. Last years NAIA national champion had guys transfer to Ole Miss and Marquette. Hard to judge where exactly Mason falls but the last couple of years the top NAIA players have been able to play at a pretty high level.
  17. And with how the season ended I think Sather earned a short term extension. Hopefully we can come out a net positive from the portal this year.
  18. Hypothetically if Walters, Moni, and Thompson all end up in the portal, I would think both schools would be interested in all 3. List would go Walters, Thompson, Moni?
  19. Jacksen Moni from Northern State would be a good pickup if he were to enter the portal. His 3 point % took a dip this year which could be a concern
  20. He wasn’t on the hot seat when he was something like 2-23 in a 25 game conference stretch? In all seriousness I don’t care if Paul Sather or Santa Claus is the head coach. We’ve finished 6th, 5th , 10th, and 9th in the conference the last 4 years. Those results in an average to probably below average conference are not good. Maybe next year is the year we make a huge jump. Seems like there will be a lot of turnover in teams rosters next year. I’m sure the SU’s, ORU, and St Thomas will be at the top. I will be disappointed if we are not amongst that group. As always I will be at most home games and look forward to traveling to a handful of away games. I’m already looking forward to going down to Lincoln once again!
  21. He’s got all the physical tools to play in the nba. Just needs to fine tune a few things. Needs to become much more of a consistent shooter and needs another 15 pounds. He’ll go to the combine, if he performs well he’ll keep his name in the draft.
  22. I guess you’d have to go to Bisonville and see if their season was acceptable. I’m just happy ORU won
  23. I’m not sure what him being preseason all summit has to do with him stepping into a new role. I can assure you it is not easy going from 3rd or 4th option to the go to guy. As talented as Nelson is, he had an up and down start to the season. I can assure you it’s hard to go from role playing bench player to the go to guard like Skunberg had to. I can assure you it’s hard to go from getting limited minutes as a freshman to playing extended minutes as a big man as Morgan did. I’m not even sure what you’re trying to argue. If you think making those adjustments is easy as a player you must have been a heck of a college player yourself
  24. Not sure what you’re trying to say?
  25. It’s the off-season. Relax. Plenty of time till next October
