Anyone able to find a stream? -
He'll go through the draft process this offseason. They said scouts went to see Scheierman in Sioux Falls last year and came away more impressed with Nelson. He's not as new of prospect as the recent viral video makes it seem

Conference should step in somehow. No way they should be the only team not having their games streamed for free or on a platform like ESPN+ -
I have no idea but do you really think ORU is paying Max Abmas anywhere close to what P5 teams could? What about Grant Nelson at NDSU? Serious talk about him getting drafted this year. Max Abmas has tested draft waters before. I’m sure both would be making 6 figures like Baylor Scheierman is at Creighton. Baylor knew he couldn’t get that money in Brookings, and I doubt Nelson is making a ton in Fargo or Max in Tulsa. So must be something other than money keeping them in their programs…

Yes 9 vs 10 wouldn’t even make sense. No idea why I thought it was like that. Need to get to the 7 seed
-
O wow so it is 7 vs 10 and 8 vs 9? If this team could somehow put something together and get to a 7 seed, then upset the 2 seed, and actually be showing some growth, by both players and coaches, I guess it probably would be considered a successful season with a real rocky beginning and middle
-
Does that include a win in the weakling Wednesday or whatever they’ll call the 9 vs 10 seed game they have now?

Let’s see if I get this right 1. Just some bad luck. Never has anything to do with coaching 2. Little known fact, UND is the only program in the NCAA that is not allowed to recruit other d1 players from the portal. We are only allowed to lose players. Not Sathers fault for that. 3. It’s 100% the players fault. Sather is one of the best X’s and O’s coaches in the conference. I have no evidence to back this up other than just believe me, you’re an idiot if you disagree 4. You guys expect way too much out of a coach in his 4th year in a program. You shouldn’t be favored to win a conference game until year 7. You shouldn’t be expected to win multiple games in a row till at least year 12. Just be patient. There’s no other teams in the conference that have had short turn around times 5. Grand Forks is impossible to recruit to. When kids have options like Brookings, SD and Macomb, Illinois it’s impossible to recruit against. Not Sathers fault Let me know if I missed any other reasons why we should continue this dumpster fire

Should be about 5 more minutes

20% win percentage better say different

Trent shot 1 three a game at 50% in JC last year. He’s been scared to even look at the rim since day one in a UND uniform. That is 100% coaching -
Winning 20% of games against d1 opponents in the last 3 years. Let an assistant take over the rest of the year and see if he can find something. It’s a lost cause with Sather

If grant gets anywhere near the lane he’s spinning. So easy to scout for other teams -
I was just specifically talking about under Sather, but correct, we have had a great history of guards at the D1 level
-
It’s sad that we’re even in a position where a question like this can come up. Good guards grow on trees. You can literally find good guards anywhere. How can we not get one after the seasons Marlon and Tyree had??

I fell for it too. I was asking if we could finish in the top half of the conference after those thanksgiving games. I think the more likely answer is we played two teams from warmer climates, in grand forks, over thanksgiving, when it was like 10 degrees. I don’t think they wanted any part in being here and we took advantage
