Sorry, Sather is not getting let go anytime soon. BJ leaves for what I hear is 350K and Tyree leaves to earn money to support his kid? Hard to blame Sather for this

Can we blame him for having no SLT wins with his own recruits? Dude needs to bring in an even better portal class than last year now

I think Rohde made a terrible decision. Think he would have had a much more enjoyable season at UST. Now, the money is a huge thing so I don’t blame him I just don’t know how he landed on Virginia. Guys a stud, wish he would have landed somewhere else.

I’m guessing they sold him on needing shot creation and thinking he could fill that. They may have even locked him in a room and played nothing but Kyle Guy highlights.

You keep trying to throw this narrative out that there is some "angst" or some "prior issues". You couldn't be further from the truth.

Some people just don't think he is a good coach at the D1 level. I would say that is backed by many logical and legitimate reasons that have been pointed out in this forum, but also proven by his win % in 5 years at UND.........39%. It has nothing to do with Sather specifically. Some people just want to watch UND win games at a higher clip than 39%. It is really that simple pal.

You need to take the 10 or so non D1 wins out of there. Unfortunately, I think it’s around 35%

Filip only played 3 years at UND right? Not that it changes what you’re saying.

And for Rhode I don’t think we can judge it off of 1 year. They weren’t as successful as people thought but if the team has success the next 2 years it is worth the trade off.

Rhode, the guy that has started 27 games for an ACC team that is 23-9??? He’s being called unsuccessful??? Wow

  5. Keep hearing UND fans talk about grass isn’t always greener and he’ll take a lesser role blah blah blah. Let’s look at the most recent D1 transfers for UND

DAE - First team All Big West

Moody - First team All Big Sky

    Rebraca - 3rd team All Big 10

Ethan E - played 26 mpg at CSUN

Tyree - started 60% of games at JMU, including 7 of last 8 games played. Just couldn’t stay healthy

Paul Bruns - transferred to be closer to home, starting on a Summit League team

Only player it didn’t work out for is Seybian Sims. Still not sure how he even ended up at another D1 program. Let me know if I’m forgetting someone but 6 for 7 or 85% found success at their new homes. Sorry if this defeats your narrative that people can’t have success outside of UND.

I'm sure its been said but is Nacho done?? If he is they desperately need someone to run the point. Does everyone remember before he got go play this year? It was a nigth and day difference before he go out on the court.

You don’t say? You mean to tell me Eli King and Treysen aren’t PGs? I remember someone (not you) lecturing me all offseason about how they were PGs and they could easily play the position. Funny how the team played better once a real PG took over

Why would you think that? Please give your reasons.

Multiple former players have said that Moody was kicked off for having a kid. A former coach denies it. Truth is probably somewhere in the middle

I hope I’m wrong, but I dont see Kraft as a contributor for this team next year. Now depending on what happens with the portal we could see some guard minutes open up and definitely need the shooting help, but im just worried defensively. He still has all summer to get better and stronger to handle the physicality of the D1 level so hopefully he can do that.

It would definitely be a lot asking for a redshirt freshman PWO to step into the rotation of a team that hopes to compete for a Summit League title. I hope they go portal and try get someone with some experience to fill that role, but if Kraft is good enough to fill it then I’m totally ok with that.

Nothing will be done.  In the eyes of leadership everything is good.  Kids are doing well in classes, FB made playoffs, MBB "improved" from last year, hockey will make tourney and well WBB is what it is a complete dumpster fire.  All is well at UND.

Unfortunately the men’s basketball team is not doing well in the classroom

  10. Year 1 Bottom half of conference, lose in championship by 36

Year 2 Bottom half of conference, lose first round

Year 3 Worst team in UND history, one of worst D1 teams I’ve ever watched, don’t make SLT

Year 4 Finish 2nd to last in Summit League, lose in first round

Year 5 Finish 3rd, lose in first round due to one of the biggest choke jobs you’ll ever see

  11. Not a needed position for next year but someone I like is Tameron Ferguson from St Cloud Tech HS. 6’2” guard. Leads state of Minnesota with 35 ppg. Only offer is from MSUM but starting to hear from several D1s.

I’ve been once. Pretty nice. Feel like they never have a good crowd though unless SDSU is there. Verm’s a dump.

Haha word for word what my SDSU friends say

Gotta not have a letdown game in Verm on Thursday. Think the squad has a lot to play for with the whole Bruns think but don’t want them looking ahead to Red Panda on Saturday.

Haven't been to USD's new arena. Would like to. Even my SDSU friends say how nice it is.

Good win tonight. The Summit is wide open.

Pro: Summit League is wide open

Con: Could be one of the worst years in Summit League history. Currently ranked as the 25th best conference in the country. Uffda
