Talked to a guy at work who went to the game last night. He’s normally a pretty positive guy, but said it could be a long season. He said the SU’s might beat us by 100. We might be one of the least athletic D1 teams in the country this year. If shots aren’t falling it could get ugly. He did say he liked how Bruns looked and wasn’t sure why he only got 3 min

Overall it was a disappointing year. I think splitting with DU and Omaha really did it for me. No reason to be losing those games. This team needed a player that could bail them out when the shot clock was winding down or they would go on one of those scoring droughts and no one could do that consistently. Hopefully they can bring in a transfer/recruit or someone on the roster can step into that role next year

You're right, it's the staff's fault. They have a team that routine scores 50-60 pts per game but yah.... they purposely benched their 2nd best scorer at no fault of his own.
I get it, you think I know DAE. I don’t. I’ve been a season ticket holder since Huff, Anderson, Webb freshman year. I just don’t like the direction the program is heading. I don’t see much d1 talent on this roster and we just lost one of the only guys who could at least produce at this level. It could be DAE fault for all I know

We lost a player who at the minimum was probably going to give us 15 & 5 over the next 3 years. Now I don’t think his skill set matches up with being a true number one option offensively but he’s a pretty good 2nd or 3rd option. If we really lost him because the coach favored someone who would struggle to score 20 points over the conference season then I think the coach should at least be questioned

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with people wanting us to get better/more dynamic at the QB position, whether it’s Tommy getting better or turning to one of the backups. The school down south benched their QB and he was undefeated at the FCS level. Oklahoma benched the preseason heisman favorite and some peoples #1 QB prospect in the draft. Nothing wrong with people wanting to see what our backups can do, especially when our offense hasn’t necessarily lit the FCS on fire this year
