Think about the Fairness Doctrine removed by the Reagan Administration. When it was in place broadcast entities with an FCC license were allowed to air political opinion provided that they allow opposing viewpoints equal time. For free. Free? That's not a good way to make $$$. The Reagan Administration eliminated the Fairness Doctrine. Along comes Rush Limbaugh and friends. They say any BS they want to and if someone tells the station airing it they wish to give an opposing viewpoint, the station can tell them to take a hike or pony up some $$$ if they want you broadcast their point of view. Let's say a station decides Rush is too full of crap, cuts that programming and allows another Ed Schultz to blather his point of view instead? Yeah, they can do that. Now, on the internet, can the media platform get rid of content they deem untrustworthy? Damn straight they can. Or, if they don't, Section 230 would protect them from liability if it causes harm.
-
That refers to the protections afforded to the outlet if they allow that content. It doesn't mean they have to allow that content to be published.
-
So, does CBS Evening News have to run the Globe's investigation of space aliens living in Billings, Montana? Buy the Globe if you want to read that stuff. Have at it. A platform doesn't have to allow anything on it. Call them socially responsible. Call them suppressing the "news". It is up to them. You can find garbage elsewhere if you want. It doesn't mean that a platform can't decide it is not real and shouldn't be supported by their media outlet.

Be better. It is from this guy, Sue's Lube: In 2012, Mr. D’Souza resigned as president of the Christian-affiliated King’s College after he was spotted entering a hotel with a woman who was not his wife, from whom he had been separated. Mr. D’Souza has frequently been criticized for making incendiary or conspiracy-promoting remarks, including his suggestion in August that a violent white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Va., had been staged, and his incorrect claim in October that Hitler was not anti-gay. The commentator’s appearances at colleges have also stoked controversy. Speaking at Stony Brook University in April, he joked about the Holocaust.

Rural United States spiking. Why The Worst Coronavirus Outbreaks Are Now in the Rural U.S. https://nyti.ms/3dLYJIv The coronavirus was slow to come to Foster County, N.D., a community of just over 3,000 people in the eastern part of the state. When virus cases surged in the Northeast in the spring, the county recorded just one positive case. When national case counts peaked in mid-July, it had recorded just two more. But by Tuesday, about one in every 20 residents had tested positive for the virus. More than half of those cases were reported in the past two weeks.

78, Nodak 78. So, secret agent man. Does Biden have a hidden bank account in China? Remember, shaken, not stirred.
-
Not sure. But it appears that Guiliani went "heels up".
-
Well, only a cultist wouldn't think that Guiliani was Russia's "useful idiot". Of course, the Russians know Trump and his cult are also useful idiots. ROTFLMFAO https://www.nbcnews.com/pop-culture/movies/rudy-giuliani-caught-compromising-position-new-borat-film-n1244187 Giuliani and a fictional young female reporter, who was part of Cohen's sting, can be seen going into a hotel bedroom for drinks — at the woman's invitation — after completing what the former New York City mayor apparently believed to be a real interview about the coronavirus pandemic and Trump's response to the crisis. The incident occurred as Giuliani, 76, was attempting to remove his microphone, with the help of the actress, that had been used as part of the movie's "interview" with him. The film, which is being released Friday on Amazon Prime Video, shows Giuliani reclining on a bed and then putting his hand down his pants and moving it around for what appears to be a few seconds while the 24-year-old actress playing Borat's teenage daughter, who is pretending to be a television reporter, stands in front of him.

He is 78. Nodak78. He has a license to... well, piss his pants when the least little bit frightened. He prefers his chocolate milk shaken, not stirred.

Who cares what a miserable piece of sh*t Trumptard quack like you thinks of the CDC. Real professionals pay attention. Focus on hockey or some other subject. The bile you spew on this issue is meaningless.
-
Fun Fact: Trump paid China more in taxes than he paid Stormy Daniels to keep quiet.
-
Those Russians sure have you worked up. Don't blow a blood vessel, boy. You have 13 more days to save Dear Leader. Use your time wisely. Tick, tick, tick...
-
Well, at least it is not severe.
-
As opposed to being a self-identified Trumptard cultist? Your little circle jerk spews bull$hit daily. Why the f#ck do you think morons like you are feeling the wrath of the populace? It is because you are brainwashed fools that regurgitate the bile of Dear Leader. You've been rejected by both science and the majority of the United States of America. You, along with Dear Leader are being mocked. So, keep having your pity party in your circle jerk, bizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzon. Boo hoo. LMFAO
-
And fodder for nut job cultists to deny the danger of Covid-19. This circle jerk of Trumptards is far more dangerous than following the recommendations of the CDC.
-
Gee. People feeling symptoms go up, so they get tested. Then, higher number of tests. Many with those symptoms, it turns out, are positive. Hmmmm. Shocking....

What we have here is a circle jerk of Trumptards who have joined a cult. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-election/qanon-conspiracy-mostly-true-republicans-trump-daily-kos-civiqs-poll-a9702261.html Close Trump willing to help QAnon conspiracy theorists 'save the world' from cannibals and paedophiles A third of Republicans believe QAnon theory of deep state paedophile cannibals is 'mostly true', poll finds The number of GOP voters who believe the theory either 'partly' or 'mostly' true has grown to 56 per cent in past year Justin Vallejo New York Thursday 03 September 2020 08:24 More than a third of Republicans believe the QAnon conspiracy that Donald Trump is waging a secret war against a shadowy cabal of paedophile cannibals is "mostly true", according to a new poll released on Wednesday. The increased support of QAnon comes less than two weeks after Mr Trump appeared to endorse the theory at a White House press conference, saying he appreciates the movement's enthusiasm for his presidency.
