Nobody is happy..... Judge Erickson is not Happy (UND Alum).... It is what it is, and what it has become.... Wake up!
-
New Extension signed Today, 6 year deal....details announced this afternoon Well Deserved....Congrats Dave
-
Someone could ask Ben Jacobson how he is doing..?, gave up a paying Asst Job at UND for a part time (lower paying) Asst at Wayne State with Greg McDermott, he did come back to UND for a time and then moved to NDSU with Greg, before UNI.... Point is sometimes you need to take a step sideways or back to realize your Dreams......

I would guess / and hope that Danny Fruend would fill one position as WR Coach and then maybe hire someone after Spring Bal for the remaining open position. Would also like to say THANK YOU! To Coach Kelling (JK) for all his time, efforts, and dedication to the UND program. I will miss him and his wife Megan (UND Womens Hoops).Nice people and Good Friends....Good Luck at Mary!

Spoken like you have some experience against these types...? :LOL...JK my Friend

Congrats to Travis, he deserves his shot. Originally came to UND as a grad asst for Rich Glas, then Buck recruited him to the Women's program. Has nice recruiting ties in the mid-west and very well thought of by former players, coaches. I think he is a Great fit for our program right now. Good Luck Coach Brew.....

To clarify, I never said this.... I just said what Ralph said to me.... I believe Ira to be correct in his post.... Call it coincidence, bad luck, timing, what ever you want.....everyone can draw their own conclusions, I will keep mine to myself, that is why in my 1st post, I ended it.....go figure And i'm sure there is more to the story, that I certainly do not know or people will never know.... and it really doesn't matter now....
-
Agree with both.....Terry did a nice job at UND and it gets better as we continue to look back, and try to move forward
-
like 3 years later.....lol
-
truth as I know it.... Ralph wanted Baker gone before he would invest in the new REA, was told this by Ralph himself on his plane coming back from Milwaukee after National Championship....In so many words there was no love between Ralph and the Administration at UND, this was fueled by handling of Gino and surprise LOGO! Toby Baker, yes Toby was the brain trust behind retiring the Sioux Head the 1st time and bringing in the geometric head style... Anyway, I believe that Kendall Baker thought he could save his position if he got rid of Terry... All I know is Ralph told me if UND would clean house sort of speak, he would donate more than any other benefactor had ever given to a University.... Less than 1 year later Pres gone, AD gone....REA plans announced.....go figure

Terry may have been the best AD in the last 25 years. He brought financial responsibility to the Athletic department and started the Fighting Sioux Club as we know it today,,,,, before Terry we had our finances, concessions, tickets sales ect.... ran out of cigar box sort of speak, he changed all that for the better He took the wrap for firing Gino, which upset alot of people, but that got us to Dean Blais (was not his choice, Cliffords) that worked out well.... I'm guessing we won more National titles with him as AD (doesn't mean alot, but)

Hopefully a Big turnout for Buck and the ladies on Saturday, last Home conference game and a chance to say goodbye to a Great Coach!
-
The miracle has happened....Great Win!

Real early on Doug visited UND, but we were not real "Hot" on him. Nobody, not even his Dad imagined he would be this good this fast. Here is a good website to follow BBStats.... http://www.bbstate.com/ Our very own Brandon Brekke is 3rd in the Nation in FG%...Nice
-
Talk about efficiency of offense.... http://sports.omaha....of-his-touches/ He is fun to watch
-
Just wanted to say Thank you to Coach Tim Belmore for his12 years of service to UND. A Man with great character and dedication you will be missed. Good Luck in your New position as OC at Jamestown College.

Coach Buck is a fairly private person, and my guess was he did not want a lot fanfare when he was ready to leave. That why he planned on a announcement at the end of this season when he did.... There has been a email circulating for a Month now, as to getting former players back on the Febraury 11th game, I was hoping we could also be Celebrating his plus 700 career Wins as a Head Coach.....(Think he is at 704 all time now) Be nice to have a Big Crowd on that Saturday Night....Go Sioux!
-
I will keep my views on the AD and President to myself.... Your right, however this is a time to Celebrate the accomplishments of a Great Coach and Leader of UND Athletics (Womens Basketball and Mens Baseball).... You only have to look at the Newspaper articles and Facebook pages of former players and friends to see the unbelievable impact Coach Buck had upon their lives. They write from the heart on what this man has taught them and to what they have become in life.... Again, I hate to see him go, he will be missed...
-
Just to set the record straight.... After a adult beverage with Coach Buck, This has been in place for well over a year, he told Faison last May of his plans to step down. This has also been confirmed by some of his closer friends then me. It had nothing to do with any comments this past week from the Fans down South or any current situations. I have the a lot of respect for Coach and his committment to Womens Basketball and the University of North Dakota, what he has accomplished will leave a Legacy forever. I will miss him, except for the occasional round of golf, he was a Good Friend, Great in the Community and made a impact on many players, coaches and fans.... Thanks for everything Coach!
-
Totally Blown Away.... Great Coach ! His contributtions to UND and Womens Basketball will remain forever... Sad to see him go....
-
If I were a betting Man, my money would be on Coach Buck going at least 1 maybe 2 years into the Big Sky before saying goodbye....
-
Correct that 3-0.....
-
Sioux Score 100 footer.....lol Nice Win Ladies 2-0
-
What a difference a day makes.... 1-0 Sioux, but Gophers on PP with 1:30 left in game... HOLD ON!
