  2. Especially on the PP!!! Why have a PP if you're not going to get any shots off? Quit looking for the sure thing and FIRE THAT BISCUIT!!!
  3. Now that was loud!!!
  4. They may already be at that point, but I'm sure they're not giving up on the national picture and won't until March. They've probably re-focused their WCHA hopes to get into the Top 5, so they can have home-ice for the first round of the playoffs, but more importantly, to them and their program, they're trying to figure out what they need to do to make it into the national tournament, and that means they'll have to win games, and winning games against high-ranked teams, such as we are right now, is probably pretty important to them. So, I don't expect them to let up any tonight. I'm more concerned though with our performance. We have to come out of the gates strong and play that way all night long. No more of this taking a period off. We may have gotten away with against UAA and last night against the Gophers, but once we start playing top contenders, that kind of performance will not get us very far.
  5. Pretty sure that only one of the Gophers had a stick on him. I'm sure it wouldn't have been called though had Trupp not scored.
  6. Yes and no. He obviously hasn't looked at the individual statistics to see that scoring by the team has been pretty spread out this year. He looks at the obvious numbers with Oshie and Duncan being up top, and just assumes that's the way it is. However, the last few games, the Sioux haven't exactly been lighting teams up! I don't think that's an issue of not being able to do it, but rather, the team simply not moving their legs a whole bunch during the game. The last part of the 3rd last night, and especially the OT, showed the true potential this team has. Hak just needs to figure out how to get this team to play like that for the entire game, or at least 90% of it!
  7. Trupp's goal on SportsCenter.
  8. I haven't rewatched the Kaip play yet, so it's not fresh in my memory. As for the quick whistle, it was just one of those times when the ref wasn't in the best position to make the call; lost sight of the puck and blew the whistle. I was mad as heck at the time, but the same thing happens in our favor at times. Can't really argue that, though I'm sure we all would if the Sioux had lost tonight!
  9. You must have listened to a different version than I did. The Sioux didn't play that great until OT. However, Jeff said that from the start of the 2nd period, the Sioux started taking over the game little by little until the end. IMO, that was an honest assessment of their performance tonight.
  10. With the Sioux/Gopher game, totally forgot about the Devils. Thanks for the update!
  11. A ton of alum live in the TC, so our games there are always well represented.
  12. His stick hit grazed the Gopher at most, and the Gopher went down.
  13. The Sioux really turned it on the 2nd half of the game, after stinking it up for the first half of the game. They started like it was a continuation of last Saturday's game. Let's hope they come back tomorrow night with the same steam they left the rink with tonight!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!
  14. Good thing I was taping live, as my DVR had quit recording and I would have missed the GWG!!!
  15. Here's Trupp's goal!!!
  16. Goals uploaded and processing. Coming very soon!!!
  17. I forgot my dog was outside, and I didn't hear him barking until about 3 minutes ago!!!
  18. Videos uploading to YouTube, Sioux Hab-it.
  19. Hak's post-game comments: Thought we deserved to win this game and it took a hell of a play to win it. Started off really slow, but really turned it around. Heck of a play by Martens. Trupp doesn't score unless it's a highlight reel goal. Had to have 4 lines going for OT. Had 2 sets of fresh ice on the ice on that last play.. Trupp was the player leftover and I'm fine with him being out. Get concerned. Kaip had half the net to shoot at. Kozek had 4 seconds left when going over the blue line. I think it sneaked through the pads, but normally it goes under the bar. You start to think about those things. Heck of a win. They scored on a strange one early on. That's one Phil would most likely want back. He made some key saves after that, and he was just in great position. He did his job. Bottom line.
  20. Will do!!!
  21. WCHA ROOKIE OF THE YEAR FOR THAT PLAY!!!!
  22. OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!
  23. WOW! I'm on my feet and yelling at my TV!!!!
  24. Oshie with a great chance!
  25. 78% of fans think Sioux will win WCHA. ND crowd tonight??
