Let us put it all together here. The boys set an overtime record without an elite scorer and played in the toughest conference in hockey. They spanked the now National Champions in their last game. Yes they missed the tourney, yes it was a difficult year with all the ties, losses to weak teams, and low scoring games. You would be surprised as to what a summer of workout and reflection can do. I say the Sioux will be a top 5 team in the country next season.

Besides the poor grammar, a lot of you lack the proper mindset to engage in hockey analytics. Berry is our coach, so deal with it. If you don't like it, get bent.

All you have to do is make the tourney, then it's up to the boys to play.

Duluth barely made the tourney. They played with heart. I'm happy for them.

Hakstol was all about the dump and chase. He wanted to make the defense work to get the puck, and then our forwards would make them pay at the boards. Only works if you have big guys and a couple of pure goal scorers.

That Top line and a good D core won it. It helped playing a defensive Quinnipiac team whos best player was hurt the whole game. That 2016 team was good, but 2011 was better.

Recruiting happens years in advance, and it's probably 50/50 on development. Caggiula as a Senior is light years better than Caggiula as a freshman. When I say logistics, I am talking about things away from game day. Berry has two recruits on campus right now, Guchi and Jones.

For the boys coming back, this year was a learning experience. If Wolanin and Mr. Shane Flashy G comes back, we should ave a solid group of boys.

Calling for Berrys head is ridiculous and moronic. He's had control for only 3 years and only a few of his own recruits on campus. Adding injuries and some guys not stepping up, makes for a tough season. If the boys won even a third of their overtime games, everyone here would be happy. Most of you don't understand the logistics of hockey.

Players decide this, and coaches decide whether or not they can keep it.
