  1. agree, they should just call it a tie
  2. Fleury is currently unscrewing himself in the locker room
  3. Yes, they must see the puck cross the goal line, then point to signal goal. I don't think he saw this one.
  4. Drake's jump as the clip occurs probably prevented a knee injury like Seguin's. Doesn't make the low hit less cheap though.
  5. I agree, and even more strange, the replay shows him bending over the net, looking exactly where Gaarder is pointing. Lends credence to the comment that pucks aren't in Braille.
  6. Crosby just called for tripping (poor call), referee puts him in the box, referees then huddle, "pick up the flag", and let Crosby out. A first.
  7. as far as the moore cheap shot being a game misco, NO
  8. Watch the Hak postgame interview. He was told by the referee that he didn't see the puck in the net, not the "intent to blow the whistle" excuse.
  9. sounds like a rulebook quote, in which case, I stand corrected
  10. It was a major, with or without the puck, because it was low
  11. Exact hit, and the same call plus the game misco. As you said, a higher hip check in this case (on Seguin) would have been totally legal, as the puck was there. The NHL referee got it right, the NCHC crew, did not.
  12. The check was low, which constitutes the "clipping" call, which is a major 5 minute penalty, the game misconduct is at the referees discretion. Since Moore "targeted" Drake low and away from the puck, it's clearly a cheap shot imo, and should have resulted in a game misco.
  13. That wasn't the explanation; they told Hak they didn't see the puck in the net. Really, watching the replay? If you see what you don't want to see, or thought you didn't see, then you won't see it. Always thought gwoz had the Denver based referees in his back pocket. Guess it's just Denver in general.
  14. Lately opponents have taken lots of shots at Zane from bad angles, probably because of his letting some of those in in previous games, but he seemed to have cleaned that up. Denver attempted very few of those shots all weekend until that one went in.
  15. 2 points for winner, 1 point for loser
  16. Although, when you look at the replay, the referee is leaning over the top of the net as Gaarder points to the puck across the line. He had to have seen it there, he's looking right at it. No idea why review didn't get it right (either night),. Do they get all angles for the review that we saw on TV, or just the overhead? And once the Sioux scored twice on the major, Denver was allowed to play the holding/interference/tackling game that they did so well during the championshop years. Finally, why was the last faceoff in the Sioux end, after Denver shot the puck over the net, off the water bottle, and out of the rink, That should have been taken outside the zone.
  17. Hues now it's a 3 way tire if Miami wins
  18. Need the point to tie the lead
  19. Definitely in
  20. Should be a good goal; how can they review that and get it wrong
  21. so how did Jackson get the black eye?
  22. Talked Wild Hog into finding it, don't know the channel
  23. What's the dtv channel for this game
  24. I'm not too picky, but, since I like high center ice seats, the first few rows of the upper level were great. Better seats than I could get at the X, since they were all taken there when I started going. Ice making people need to improve, though. That was bad ice. Guess I didn't visit the area where people puke frequently.
