yep (well now its called G17) same spot same 99 quality 12187 V 4880
-
I thought in cases like that (multiple people in the box but nothing goes on the board) its the first stoppage after 2 minutes...of course I could be wrong
-
I think you mean 91 and this is where the FSSN feed is normally
-
another week...another 99 quality on the FSSN
-
both games on TV WDAZ in GF Friday only FSSN for everyone else both days
-
working here just fine at 99 quality
-
I'll give you 3 clues 1. Both Sioux games are televised on the FSSN 2. FSN Wisco Friday has HS football 3. FSN Wisco Saturday has the Bucks game You figure it out "I'm Pat Sweeney happy your with us for another night of Fighting Sioux hockey on the Fighting Sioux Sports Network. And a special hello to our viewers watching on the NHL Network" NHL Network in Canada (and Leafs TV) usually took the feed as is
-
the fightingsioux website shows both games on TV and during the FB game a week ago Sweeney said both games on TV
-
NHL Network US shows Sioux/Bucky http://www.nhlnetwork.com/en_US/tvListings/US/20081031 NHL Net Canada shows Mansucko/Goofers http://www.nhlnetwork.com/en_US/tvListings/CA/20081031

normally the game would have been shown only in Mankato and southern MN but Charter last year started showing the games across the state on the charter channel. Duluth games (and some mankato games) were showing up on Mediacomm too. Comcast (which is pretty much the twin cities and western metro) started showing the games late last year
-
from what I've seen both games will be on TV in the cities.....per a post I found
-
since each box is different on the meter you'll get varying results Coolsat 5000-78 Visionsat-84 Captiveworks-58 Coolsat 8000-99 (this is the oddball one) so true. Nothing sucks than trying to fix the dish in +10 or swapping a switch in a pouring rain (done both numerous times)
-
love it You add your own hard drive but the box is rock solid stable. Here is the review I did a while back. The box has had a few updates on it which was documented motor control is solid blind scan is really good channel editing/removal/moving is a snap I know they're going under 100 bucks right now(which is more than I paid when I bought mine originally)..You can use the thumb drives if you dont want to use a hard drive If you use the hard drive then you can download it to your computer for easy playback or play it through the receiver
-
If the frequency is off by a couple I wouldn't worry about it. At least it came in. I know on one of my boxes the frequency has to be nuts on for it to lock so I have to futz with the frequency sometimes. What receiver is it? (you mention powerscan so I assume Fortec?)
-
doing a power scan the LNB can be off by up to 5 with no issues. I know when I scan Ohio News Network on another satellite I get a different frequency each time. The "stock" frequency (the published one) is 11733 but I have seen it on any different frequency from 11731 to 11738 If you want when the next game is (Oct 18 FB game) do a manual scan and log it in at the coordinates posted
-
cool Its nice to see the games on BIG screens now huh?
-
That seems odd. Sometimes when a frequency is reused (as in this case 12187 is reused all the time) you lose the old channel if its stored but never the new one being goofed up. Most boxes have a manual scan option. Try and edit it that way. Or add a transponder through the same way
-
feed is up
-
manual PID entry is something different. I think you mean a manual scan and those will get the right pids Pid entry is when you know there is something there but a manual (transponder) scan comes up with nothing so you manually have to enter all the info. The CW stations on G11/G17 C-Band is an example of that
-
correct. FSN owns almost 1/2 of of Big10 Network
-
doesnt look like it. Just checked a couple spots and NESN has other programming past 7:00 Central time (the guide stops at 8:00) and the game starts at 6:30 edit: nope..not according to schedule NESN isnt carrying it http://www.nesn.com/content/college/ctvschedule.aspx
-
just expanding on your answer
-
usually before the first game the feed is up a 1/2 hour before
