I've heard mouth piece #1 admit they did offer and the relationship he had with UND coaches was pretty tight. That fan base is so obnoxious every day.

Great recruiting class this year all the way around! And gotta love the local press there talking pretty highly about UND, hopefully we can continue to pull some great recruits out of that area.
It's been said before, but we're very lucky that Eric Schmidt is a part of this program

Interested to hear who you all think will have the best 4 years at UND from this group. Let's hear some names!

Colorado boys getting a lot of praise on the Signing Day special right now. Reporter for the Denver Post said Griebel might be the best all-around football player in Colorado

Maybe the kid has been or still is recruiting UND? Not 100% sure on that. I think if you connect the dots on him though it makes sense that we aren't recruiting him any more.
Can things change? Sure. Recruiting is the most fluid part of college football. Just sharing the info I have come across.
Commits don't have to sign on the NSD either, of course. We could see a couple late signees in the spring.

And by the looks of it, that'll be the last one we see today

Blubaugh has signed

Honerlaw is signed
Optimistic about Honerlaw. I think he works hard and has a good future here

Coach Schwenzfeier mentioned Larson in the chat, so I doubt he's a "back out"
Glad to hear it

Just a guess, but LB Noah Larson could be the guy we see back out. Committed early, and probably got a lot of attention down the home stretch
-
Also, Leif Bungum has committed.

Powell said we might have one surprise back out?
Back out as in a decommit? I wonder who that could be

article says UND is expecting "at least 15" scholarship signings tomorrow (not counting the 4 commits already on campus).... the wiki lists 14 verbals as of now... any ideas on the remaining commit(s)???
I counted 15 on the Wiki. However, one other one I would probably guess is Josh Weichel, who was just offered two days ago.

Again, actual events have nothing to do with it. We are in the realm of counterfactual history. The original post asks us to imagine what would have been best for the state, not what actually happened, or even what was most likely to happen.
Does counterfactual history = alternative facts?

I believe hes going to Maine.
Confirmed here: Grant McDonald headed to Maine. Interesting, they have him listed as a TE rather than a linebacker

Rourke Freeburg, Safety/OLB from Arizona commits to University of Arizona as a PWO. UND gave him his only scholarship offer, he also had a PWO from Arizona State

Extremely excited to say that I will be continuing my Education and Football career at the University of Minnesota!#SkiUMah#RTBUff. Really was hoping UND would pull that one out

No, he wasn't listed as one. Pure speculation here, but UND pegged him as a safety while Winona St tweeted about him at WR. Maybe defense wasn't really where he wanted to play. Who knows.
It was becoming a crowded safety class with Blubaugh and Shannon (the two kids from Colorado) penciled in to play there as well. Like you said, he probably thought he could see the field more at a different position somewhere else
