I'm not sure I understand that comment--I'd be a lot worried. According to the PWR, they are better than we are and will be favored, especially in their barn and without Boeser and Jost. Or are you worried we will get our arses handed to us?
that it will get to an respectable score type of worried. Like embarrassing level

Central up 6-1 over RR going into the third. It's safe to just engrave GFC on the state championship trophy on Monday. They got some players.
Yeah I don't see a ND team beating them. Also doesn't look like they have many non ND games? Is EGF any good this year?

I'm a little worried the union game won't go so well...

Good point. UND may have to recruit towards a primary return specialist. Maybe the commit from Washington state (Cameron McKinney) can excel at return duties .....
I know that Seibel is not the answer. He can't get it done.
Completely agree.

I wonder how this will effect recruiting in the RRV. NDSU obviously had a great season but technically their stock is falling. UND didn't make it quite as far but their stock is skyrocketing. Which type of trend will young talents want to be a part of?

Watching replay- mostly want to see the crowd shots and vaunted jet sweeps in the 4th quarter. Anyway, the hold call on the 1st TD was a joke. SU corner was blocked and RB was blowing by him so he threw his arms up in the air, 'and waived them like he just didn't care'. Football needs a flopping rule for wimps like that.
Stick fumbled- nice review refs.
On the hold, he was locked in on his breast plates. Was NOT a hold. Did they end up scoring anyway? I don't remember.
Also, that was a clear fumble. Wasn't even that close and as you said, the reply was there to prove it but they didn't even look!!
That game easily could have been blown wide open but the officials kept it close. Now I will hear about their 2 missed field goals and all their injuries were why they lost. Just like I heard all week- they were 1 play away from being undefeated this season but they were actually also 4 plays away from having 4 loses------ Charleston southern doesn't miss the last second field goal to win, EWU doesn't miss last second field goal to win, NDSU misses field goal against Iowa and then SD scores last second TD to win. EASILY could have been a 4 lose team going into the playoffs but they were fortunate. But all I heard was that they were unlucky and should be undeafted...one play away.
You remember the bad more than the good.
The offsides against NDSU that turned into a field goal for JMU was suspect as well. Mediocre officiating crew last night.

I honestly cannot feel sorry for them.
Completely agree. I may soak in every one of their blow outs this season.

Tonight's biggest game is RR vs GFC. I think GFC is the better team by a 4 goal margin but with the rivalry I see them only winning 4-2.

I don't think BHS overlooked DL. DL is the best team they have seen so far. It was a good battle, and both teams goalies played great. Neither team was running away with this one. DL got the win and was the better team. BHS needs more of these games.
Sounded like an evenly matched dual all game long. I'm interested to hear the shot totals.

What I saw- Take out the false starts (home field) and if JMU had their starting RT this game would not have been close.
Having #68 on their roster automatically takes away 6 points of offense from their team. Having him play takes away 21. He would have a madden ranking of 4. A 0 for awareness.

Absolutely agree with you though. Need to get a few more dynamic playmakers on the offensive side of the ball. When the offense needed big plays they really didn't have their go to guys like in years past.
Hardly an unsuccessful season for the boys and the run had to stop at some point. It's good for FCS football to have other teams emerge. JMU had some serious talent on the field tonight. Aggressive athletic defense and with a middle linebacker with a name like gage steele, NDSU's fate was sealed the day that kid was born. That's a badass name for a middle linebacker
Gage Steele. I bet his middle name is juggernaut. Epic name

Should I be impressed by DL or accept that BHS is overrated? Either way, congrats to DL. Sounded like a great game!

The damage (injuries) to the middle of the NDSU defense finally caught up to them.
To beat NDSU at home in the playoffs is impressive, but to beat any team with #68 on the line is even more impressive.

Is it weird to think that even with this little time and that far to go that NDSU still has a shot to pull this out?
Nope. Hasn't left my mind

Did JMU even try to get a first down there?
-
Devils Lake and BHS tied 0-0 after 2. Pretty evenly matched so far. Impressed by DL this season, they have some good skaters but still Not on the same level as central
-
If I was coaching JMU I'd take 68 out and move an existing guard to his spot and bring in a back up guard. Anything to get him off at this point.
-
Officials lost control of play there. Bad break for NDSU since that turned into points. I think JMU was due for a break though

Dukes need to get it together. NDSU will suffocate them if they don't pull away.
I'm afraid it's already too late. Looking like a tie ball game shortly. Then NDSU will control the clock and win by a score
