  1. your right i am just a person who makes it to the ralph 2 or 3 times a year for hockey from az. i do understand improving and it would great to have a ramp near the arena. trust me i understand that. i agree i was just stating that i would never come back because of parking was a little extreme. no big deal.

wow! nice shot a the job reference, you must know that i am a bum that does not understand anything when it comes to MAKING MONEY. i wish my college education would have explained that to me.thanks for the info though. i don't believe i was taking a shot at you, just talking about your co-worker regarding the parking.

happy new year and go sioux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

  2. they will never go back because of the parking? yeah ok. i will walk a fricken mile to see the sioux play when i am back in g-forks if need be but to say they won't go back because of the parking seems a little overboard to me.

will this be the 99th thread on REA complaints? hope not... go sioux!!!

One would think that the REA would figure out that the biggest complaint about the facility is the parking situation.  It IS the biggest gripe I hear from Sioux Hockey attendees.  (A co-worker went to their 1st game at REA against Canisus, and will never go back.)

Since everything at REA is about the almighty dollar, it's amazing that haven't figured out a way to build a parking ramp and charge $3 - $5 a car and make money.  (They probably wait until ticket demand decreases and use it as a marketing tool!)

"Anything less than a sweep is unexceptable. I hope Staffords continues to play like he did when he played in the WJC. Anything less from him is unexceptable."

    UND's Brandt breaks collarbone

UND senior goalie Jake Brandt could be sidelined for four to six weeks after breaking his collarbone while ice fishing this week.

Brandt, from Roseau, Minn., landed on his shoulder when the snowmobile he was riding tipped over as he was leaving the fishing area. He broke his collarbone in the process, said his father, Allen.

Brandt, who has played in 59 games in his career and has a 32-12-4 won-lost record, has started just one game this year. Sophomore Jordan Parise and freshman Phil Lamoureux have drawn most of the playing time.

In Brandt's lone start this season, he was the winning goalie Oct. 9 in a 3-1 win at Maine. His only other appearances were a relief role in a 6-0 loss to Minnesota and in Sunday's exhibition against the USA World Junior team.

  8. i hear what you are saying and respect your opinion but the NBA, NFL are also playing on X-MAS. not sure if everyone has the same beliefs as you and to some people it does not even matter. golf courses are open on xmas here in az as well as many other places. i doubt people are forced to work, business usually ask many months before on who can work on x-mas and they go from there. can't wait to watch usa hockey on x-mas!!

  9. speaking of selling championship rings. check these out. i know off topic but its crazy to see this stuff being sold, i guess you gotta do what you gotta do.

NOTRE DAME 1977 COTTON BOWL RING

or how about a broze medal from the 1972 olympics..WTF

A Sioux player would have to be pretty down & out to sell their Jersey. It is probably one of their prized possesions, next to the FF Championship Ring.
