The Johnsons are playing together almost every shift. Butler-Niskanen Lee played with Mitera, Butler and Chorney, I didn't notice who they were consistently playering with. -

this article was already brought up in the former players thread but it does have a blurb about toews in here. sorry but the term "the next one" was 1st given to sidney crosby then for some reason floated around kessels name now its being used for toews?? give it up please....sid the kid is the closest to deserve the nickname "the next one" and thats still a stretch right now coparing anyone to gretzky...or am i missing something and does every top canadian prosepect get to share "the next one" for a little while And 6-foot-2, 185-pound, 17-year-old Jonathan Toews of the University of North Dakota was, not surprisingly, one of the most impressive players in camp. "The Next One," is the youngest player on the team and the only player still draft eligible. The world juniors takes place Dec. 26-Jan. 5 in Vancouver. http://www.canada.com/nationalpost/story.h...06c4964&k=14754 -

mentioned in former players thread already..great for jason. -
they can hang with and beat half of the teams in the wcha as of now..they swept duluth and mankato this year. played the sioux tough both nights, could give tech, st clown and alaska a run for their money as well easily..the only reason they should not be in right now is the arena factor. otherwise it makes sense. location wise, they can play with wcha teams so i dont see any reason in the near future they should not be in.
-
i understand this, thanks for the info, i lived in bemidji for half of my life and go back 3 times a year so i am aware of how big it is. i guess my point is if they were to be a wcha team, the bigger teams such as mn, UND, wisc and so forth could fill that place with their fans alone. thats what i was getting at. i should have clarified that.
-
they should have 5,000 to 6,000 in the new plans...3,500 seems pretty low?

jason blake will probably be the only former sioux player to make the USA team in the olympics. -
whats the story with darcy zajac and mario (phils bro)..are they aiming at bringing these guys in next year or the year after or do you think they are waiting to see who leaves early and thn we will here more on these 2?? thx for any help.

185.00 is the price i have heard located in the discussion thread here... http://www.thebeaverpond.com/

they have plans for a convention center with a arena in it planned out as of now. hopefully this will all happen for bsu. they have a good program on the up and should be in the wcha hopefully. i put bemidji in and either mankato or alaska goes. financially alaska would be the choice because bemidji is located very well with most of the current wcha teams.

he has already played a full game at the ralph last year so it probably wasn't as big of a deal having already suited up vs the sioux compared to if it was his 1st game vs them...still a great story and glad to see him on the ice 1st off and 2nd how great he is doing...
-
cant we just load the old ralph on a GIANT trailer and put it down in downtown bemidji
