they can hang with and beat half of the teams in the wcha as of now..they swept duluth and mankato this year. played the sioux tough both nights, could give tech, st clown and alaska a run for their money as well easily..the only reason they should not be in right now is the arena factor. otherwise it makes sense. location wise, they can play with wcha teams so i dont see any reason in the near future they should not be in.

i understand this, thanks for the info, i lived in bemidji for half of my life and go back 3 times a year so i am aware of how big it is. i guess my point is if they were to be a wcha team, the bigger teams such as mn, UND, wisc and so forth could fill that place with their fans alone. thats what i was getting at. i should have clarified that.

they should have 5,000 to 6,000 in the new plans...3,500 seems pretty low?

they have plans for a convention center with a arena in it planned out as of now. hopefully this will all happen for bsu. they have a good program on the up and should be in the wcha hopefully. i put bemidji in and either mankato or alaska goes. financially alaska would be the choice because bemidji is located very well with most of the current wcha teams.

he has already played a full game at the ralph last year so it probably wasn't as big of a deal having already suited up vs the sioux compared to if it was his 1st game vs them...still a great story and glad to see him on the ice 1st off and 2nd how great he is doing...
