not sure about that but latvia is a much better team than kazatztan, slovokia will be a very tough game for the usa and if they want a chance at getting into a potential medal round game then they better win, lets just hope the tie with latvia doesn't ome back to haunt team usa...

same jerseys that were worn in the world junior tourney, less baggy and more of a tight fit, i dont mind them but i will have to get used to the new socks they are wearing with the vertical stripes on them. i guess change will always happen, nike took a grasp of most the teams in torino and is showing off their new designs..

i believe they do not have the rights to sell the blackhawks style anymore. they do release retro jerseys whenever the team wears them for a special reason like this year. im sure there will be a new retro jersey sold every year or 2 for sioux jersey junkies like myself and many others

there is no way anyone can say that the USA is a medal favorite to begin with, CANADA could field 2 1/2 teams to our 1 team, does that mean we cannot contend for a bronze?? hell no but when you tie latvia im not to sure if your sending the right message to the other teams in the field unless of course your trying to trick them wait 4 years and we will be better off to contend for a medal hopefully, the great thing is that the games are not played on paper but todays start sure didn't help much either....as for the czechs, no hasek = no medal (thats if he is out for the tourney with his injury) GOLD - CANADA SILVER - RUSSIA BRONZE - USA

when your a rookie and you get hurt it always leaves an opening for someone else to step up like eaves has done and take your spot, he will be up and down and then next year im sure he will get a every game crack at it. he has shown he belongs though, he may also be good trade bait as the sens are loaded, pretty tough lineup to crack...
