its fun as hell like any other wcha arena to go to. i went to the game a few years back in january when the sioux came back form either a 3-0 or 4-0 score to end it with a tie. unbelievable, its sioux hockey. you are going to run into annoying fans everywhere including the ralph. go for sure. its fun being razzed by opposing fans, you just have to have fun wit it and wear as much sioux gear as possible of course. my goal is to hit evey wcha road arena in the near future. tough being here in az but i will make it happen. been to cc, du, umtc, jbsu (scsu) and of course the ralph. that leaves 5 others. cant wait to hit them up soon. i love going to road games, especially at umtc, hell of a fun time

they have been on their little bandwagon ant-sioux for years now. i went there for a game 3 years back and it was a joke what they let people do with signs and so forth. wasnt it 5 years back or so when blais almost took the team off the ice because they didnt want the sioux to use their jerseys and there were a bunch of protesters or something like that in the arena? anyone recall this? what a joke

its just how he is. he drops lines all the time you have to just laugh at. it has to PAIN him watching the gophs now, 2 ncaa titles and he just gets to sit up and watch it and have no part in it what so ever. hes a funny guy who couldnt win the big game. maybe hes just staying with the program for some reason in the future the lucia pet leaves and he thinks he may get a 2nd shot i love watching college hockey regardless of the team, gophs, badgers ect.....but i do mute the tv when listening to these goons

the sioux along with many other teams DON'T report the specifics of injuries as they do not have to. you will only here usually a upper body or lower body injury for a player.

i want phil to start but really am confident either way the other thing is our goals per game are down when phil was in probably because we played 2 of the BEST teams in the nation and neither of those teams give up many goals overall. but, with that saying, the trend last year was that we didnt give phil much support when he was in net. is there something to this?? maybe but what the hell would it be if there was?? so either way lets have 2 good weeks of opractice and get 4 more points in alaska!!

phil is the #1 for sure, never said there was a controversy in my above post. my point was grieco is 3-0-1 and thats the bottom line. how is grieco unpredictble when he has played 4 career games?? phil is not proven either so that could go both ways. as i mentioned in the first sentence, phil is #1 and i sure hope he gets healthy and back in the lineup vs alaska. i really want to see what he can do with a full season, its just nice to have a backup that has won some games and that has gained valuable wcha road and home experience.

who knows, probably wont know til they go to alaska the good thing is as that we have 2 capable goalies now!

i only got to catch the ot last night on webcast....did toews get booted from the faceoff at the very end when they were trying to get the right players out?? and why the hell did scsu have 5 players out there plus the goalie?? obviously didnt effect it but there had to be at least a minor penalty on that take down!! and porter was not in the clear so i dont believe it should have been a penalty shot but of course at the end in the heat of the moment hak and the boys had to argue for one with only a second left... good weekend. grieco is solid and very young, 17, wow. good 3 points and great PK in OT!! and a 4-1-1 in wcha play is a great start. 9 points on top right now is very good. should make for some great practice battles with phil and grieco now that he has proven he can play in this league with a VERY good weekend vs the huskies.
