classic post!

toews isnt trying out at all, all he will determine is what line hes on!!

the frozen 4 is at a neutral site every year. how can you ever say the frozen 4 is not at a neutral site? that doesnt make sense at all, you have no idea who is going to make the frozen 4 and if a team is lucky enough to make the frozen 4 in their city then props to them!
-
and if the final 5 was in sconie it would be home ice or colorado would be home ice for those teams and so on. its perfect where it is, tons of fun and the best hockey tourney there is including the frozen 4! sure its a advantage but big deal, the sioux and others dont get fazed by it. and please stop with the "its not olympic ice" crap, the whole argument about the home ice for those who argue it is where the location of the tourney and thats in minny.

im sure the nhl/wild control it and the pricing, i could be wrong though

yeah, will never be neutral sites. impossible as you cater to the host team and local teams for attendance purposes.
-
regionals are usually at an on campus site and if that team makes the tourney they get to stay at that site. so if cc makes it then they stay at the cc site if they are the host. it all depends on who hosts the regional as i think denver was a host maybe once when it was at cc. sounds wierd but i think its happened. i guess the pepsi center hosted last year when we beat te gophers so who knows as im assuming DU was that host but they didnt make the tourney. whoever forks the cash i guess without a hostile and abusive logo gets te regional
-
just for fun, the last 6 years, regionals, cant find past regionals anywhere as of yet to see the trends Future Sites 2008
-
doesnt mariucci host regionals as usually they are at a college site and the X would be host to frozen 4??
-
i could care less about advantages and disadvantages as all top tier programs do great with recruiting on their own. your point about the ralph being a advantage doesnt hold any ground as thats self made, ralph made that for the school and hockey team and if your school doesnt have it that oh well. the other thing mentioned regarding regionals are not easy to control and yes michigan and minny do get a good amount. hell the sioux wont have another one forever with our logo but thats for another discussion.
-
i love the final 5 at the X, you need a nhl arena and it works best location wise i think for all teams, where do you want it to be? its a perfect place to host, great atmosphere. the gophers are a huge market team being in minneapolis, grand forks really doesnt have that available like all big cities do. last time i checked we are doing pretty well in the recruiting department along with other teams unless you are referring to other smaller level teams. i think a top recruit knows whats out there without watching tv good points otherwise man hockey season needs to start!

wow, sorry...................................didnt know my engish professor was watching will make sure to use that for you............. thanks for the heads up and the concern, i finally found where that damn button was.........................................

halarious, theres always someone who slips this in then there are a few who want the truth and they want it now, they dont have any advantages, period, they lose fair and square every time to end their last 2 seasons in the green and whites presence, just like to sioux have lost in bc's presnce god i cant wait to play them in april again, and no i dont mean the gophers, they will be done by then, i mean bc

EJ is raw still but will be a very very good nhl d man, just has to clean up that wrap around D and he will be just fine, toews is the number 1 prospect, many people know that but they also play different positions as well, its all pretty much based where each was drafted in a way as neither has really done anything to drop from their previous rankings, both i think will be great nhl players as will oshie!!

TOEWS #2 overall hf prospect http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/9900...ts110_fall2007/ 2. Jonathan Toews After scoring 46 points in 34 games for the University of North Dakota, Jonathan Toews confirmed that he was too good to stay in college hockey and signed an entry-level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. A future first line center, Toews is both a playmaker and a leader on the ice. His top offensive talents, combined with a defensive awareness, make Toews the premier forward prospect in the league. Chicago has not had much to cheer about on the ice in the past few seasons, but the presence of Toews on the ice will change all that. Toews will compete for a roster spot early in the season and may graduate from prospect status by the end of the season.

it fits nicely being smaller than a regular jersey, thanks

first i think bishop may be gone, not sure though and you cant be serious that we wont have a all sioux honey hatrick, put the green goggles back on please, schneider wasnt the problem, we lit him up for over 5 goals per game in his career....okposo is a badd azz player with tons of skills, will be interesting to see as his points droped but a third after hrisch got the boot. i say he puts up 40 + but not over 50, that will be reserved for duncan and oshie will put up 60+ to be exact it will be 69 (30 goals, 39 assists)
