depends on what his nhl team thinks where he is in development being a very high pick early 2nd rd. i would say take it no matter what as you dont know how you may recover and you never know. you may want that extra year. i thought this would be his last season anyways. will be interesting to see what he does.
-
they dont have their stats yet on their home page, can you show a link? thanks
-
OUCH, Minny take a big hit, top line winger with okposo and barribal http://www.gophersports.com/ViewArticle.db...;ATCLID=1281530 Junior forward Ryan Stoa, the left wing on the Minnesota men
-
maybe , maybe not on radke but i just dont see him sitting unless the penalty thing really gets out of hand kozek seems to be the biggest hitter on this team and if andrew can combine that with scoring a point nightly, we have a hell of a player coming around!
-
of course he can play. its a matter of numbers right now and talent. he may get a start or 2 here and there but as of now he will wait his turn, hell the coaches saw something in him but this is one deep team full of talent and im sure he knows his role on this team. cant wait to see him cycling the puck at his size
-
wow, yeah this isnt happening in todays age, minnys run last year was very impressive then it was down from there but i guess that was the only way to go after that start. good history to know though on cornell and maine.

that makes for a nice #1 vs #4 matchup in both polls on friday!! http://www.uscho.com/rankings/?data=uscho1m&week=poll http://www.uscho.com/rankings/?data=usatoday&week=poll

its just a mistake, the gave vs BC is on cstv friday night, both games will be available online as well
-
im assuming if forney shows the coaches he will get a chance but that obviously hasnt been the case so far
-
yeah thats very true as there are 3 players that can play O or D. not a issue either way.
-
I would guess a extra forward only because of the thinking if a d man goes down then radke can slide in there and if a forward goes down then you have the extra forward that you brought with. who knows but that may be the thinking.
-
thats halarious. 120.00 for a replica? wow. thats the material i figured but to charge that much is a joke
-
maybe landman or ben nelson?? not sure on the other players that arent commited at roseau as oliver is commited to scsu and ness to minny. i see lee, landman and nelson on chris's site as uncommited http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=pq-...Z3kFg&gid=3

hf avalanche prospect rankings http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/9962...pects_fall2007/ 18. (NR) Brad Malone, RW, 18 Acquired: 4th round, 105th overall, 2007 Younger cousin to Ryan Malone of the Pittsburgh Penguins, Brad is a product of Cushing Prep. He joined the Sioux Falls Stampede following trade at the USHL Entry Draft. In 57 games, Malone managed 14 goals, 19 assists, for 33 points, along with a +6 rating and 134 penalty minutes. He scored half his goals on the power play. In the playoffs, he tallied three goals, four points, and 24 penalty minutes in eight games. Malone is a big talented forward with untapped potential. He has the skill and size to be a dominant player, but lacks consistency. He is a strong skater with good speed and plays a smart two-way game. His offensive skills are powered by terrific puckhandling skills, natural on-ice vision leading to good passing and playmaking abilities. He is capable of playing a physical game and likes to his big, powerful frame to his advantage. Malone was selected by Acadie-Bathurst in the QMJHL draft, but has elected to go the NCAA route. He is in his freshman year at the University of North Dakota. HF WCHA preview http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articles/9959...season_preview/

junior brock bradford, a BC forward is out 10 weeks or so with a broken arm. he scored 45 points last season making him the 4th leading scorer last year for BC. that has to be a big loss for BC. http://www.boston.com/sports/colleges/mens...ion_for_eagles/

hate to see injuries anywhere for sure ryan stoa will be out a while depending on a MRI he will have. if so this would be a huge loss for minny. first liner with okposo and barribal. could be season ending. http://www.twincities.com/gophers/ci_7173235?nclick_check=1 line took a hit when junior winger Ryan Stoa left the ice in the first period Saturday night with an injury. Lucia said Stoa, who had a goal and an assist in the season-opening 4-3 win over RPI on Friday night, "will probably be out awhile," noting that a magnetic resonance imaging test will be scheduled for Monday.

VS & The Sioux come off a nice 6-0 shutout of the defending champs. Nice work in all areas. Phil was solid and got his 5th shutout of his career. The defense was very good and we got goals from 6 different players and points from 12 different players! Nice depth for the first game. These non conference games overall will mean a lot in the end when tourney time rolls around so lets keep it rolling out east!! 10/19/07 @ Boston College - BC is coming off a overtime loss to michigan in the icebreaker tourney in st paul and then rebounded with a 4-1 win over a fiesty RPI team which puts them at 1-1-0 for the year. They have many skilled players like bertram and gerbe back from their runner up team last season but goaltending is a BIG ?. All 3 goalies are freshman. 10/20/07 @ Northeastern - Northeastern hasnt played yet but will host hockey east oppenent Providence in their first game of the year on friday 10/19. The Sioux hosted Northeastern 2 seasons ago beating them 6-1 and 2-1 in grand forks. ill go with a 4-3 win @ BC and a 5-2 win @ Northeastern

I likes what i saw from Lapoint (no E) he played well. he and marto will push eachother all year. i say we see the same lineup next weekend. solid game last night and good to see the team pick up when osh got shown the door to the locker room. chorney is so solid overall, very fun to watch a d man play the way he does
