per brad Weekly Wednesday update Here is your update from both sides of the rivalry.... UND coach Dave Hakstol said that Mario Lamoureux will probably be available to play this weekend. That doesn't necessarily mean Lamoureux will be in the lineup. That's yet to be seen. No extra activities are being planned other than the white-out. Last season, there were a lot of extra activities surrounding the game, including the green beer, early door openings, videos and the epic Dean Blais vs. Doug Woog bubble hockey match. On the Minnesota side, assistant coach John Hill said that Don Lucia has been in the office for a couple of hours each day this week, but he has not felt well enough to skate with the team at practice. As you all know, Lucia won't be in Grand Forks this weekend. The Gophers gave the World Junior boys -- Jordan Schroeder, Cade Fairchild and Mike Hoeffel -- the day off yesterday. They will return to normal team activities today. Another random note: If you would like the jersey that Jonathan Toews wore at the Winter Classic, it is up for auction. Find that here. i dont mind the DQ in college hockey at all...but.......if they wana go then its go time and both need to drop gloves and helmets. so many players all over get chippy and loose with their sticks because of the full face masks. thats why i like if need be and the right time presents himself that sioux players are good to go and handle their own business. go sioux SIOUX SWEEP

just got back from watchig toews play phx tonight. WOW is he good. havent seen him live in a while and hes so smooth. 2 goals and 1 assist. not sure if the 1st goal will hold up as his or his assist. either way he deserves his starting spot on that all star team. hale was solid on D for the yotes but a embarassing effort from phx. the sioux could have played the hawks better and thats not a joke. tey were awful

not a fight and you can consider that the only soso fight the gophers have ever had since mcmahon vs vanelli. they dont fight, they are instructed not to fight and its very obvious when last year gordon was missionary style on the ice getting pummled by a DU player and he still got suspended for a game man i cant wait for these games. will be a fun weekend. the thing that botrhers me is when teams start spearing or chipping with sticks, face washing over and over and wrestling and then wont drop em when the time is right. go sioux, this is gona be a hell of a series

had to bold that line really? his kids arent hockey players anyhow. they can skate nicely but didnt take up hockey which may have been a good thing Ty played at shattuck at a low level for one season and then moved back to az and the other is a solid baseball player and the jv QB at that private school in cali where motanas kid is the QB and will smiths kid plays wide reciever. one thing i can say is they are damn good kids and very polite. his daughter is a model and singer to cap it off wayne was one of the coolest guys in the whole coyotes organization. unbelievable guy and down to earth. was a honor to work under him and others whole there for that one season. never will forget that!
