brads blog http://www.areavoices.com/undhockey/?archive=2009-01 Northern Michigan a possibility? During the Thursday night live chat, expansion in the WCHA was a hot topic. We know Bemidji State is going to apply for admission. In the interest of keeping an even number of teams, we've all speculated that BSU and the WCHA will try to get one more team to apply, too. In recent days, both Air Force and Nebraska-Omaha -- two of the frequently mentioned suspects -- have said they are not interested in the WCHA. But apparently, Omaha coach Mike Kemp said that Northern Michigan has been approached by the WCHA as a possible member, too. This would be an interesting scenario. Northern Michigan was at one time a member of the WCHA. Could the Wildcats be Bemidji State's dancing partner? We'll see. I can already hear the players celebrating the thought of two bus trips to the UP each season.

yeah it could happen but who cares. nothing we can do about that. win and we will be fine. scsu can move their may back up the next weekend if they do fall out but they could also hang in there depending on how other teams do. if it was the end of the season with no games left then that would be a issue but not right now sioux sweep
-
ryan johnson also with a goal for canucks tonight
-
trade kane, hes no good we will give the hawks turris ansd mueller for him

wish i knew but i dont but i also know when we sweep this weekend we will jump up a few spots. i still believe the tech and mich state losses in detroit are a big factor to where we sit but that will change soon with the way the sioux are winiing. those were AWFUL losses but the sioux are moving on up like the mutha$%#!@ jeffersons

no game notes from fs.com yet so ill keep checking. they are usually posted tuesday night - glad to hear kozek is ready to go. he, malone and toews have been very good together. toews has nice flow going. great to see per brad Amid the chaos of last weekend's series, things were pretty much the norm today in Ralph Engelstad Arena. For those wondering whether this has become a distraction for the UND team, I think it's safe to say that it has not. In chatting with a couple of the players about Gwozgate, I found out that they didn't even know that Denver's coach had been suspended. The players and coaches were far more concerned with the St. Cloud State series coming up this weekend. One piece of good info for the Sioux is that winger Andrew Kozek appears to be healthy and good to go for the weekend. Kozek entered last weekend's series a little banged up. He played Friday but sat out Saturday. Dave Hakstol praised Kozek's play on Friday, especially the big hits and the assist to David Toews. With the way that line has played, I would expect to see Kozek stick with Toews and Brad Malone. A big development earlier in the day is that Robert Morris and Niagara got approval from Atlantic Hockey. They will be going in for the 2010-11 season. This leaves Bemidji State and Alabama-Huntsville seeking a home. Needless to say, this spring's application process may determine the future of hockey at BSU.

hes the guy who knocked the F out of our recruit bruenteau as well last season with a concussion that sidelinded him for a few months but as bruenteau said that was his mistake
-
funny how wheeler is 3 times the player he was while playing for umTC now as a bruin, no wonder gretzky bailed on him as he played like a panzy ass nobody for 3 years while skimming through dinkytown he was a major junior player since day 1 and for some reason he chose to play at minny and get a degree i believe which was strange as he coasted as a gopher, he didnt give anything while there. if he showed a backbone and heart for minny he may have been signed after his 2nd year which nobody drafted in his range should ever spend more than 2 years in school. yeah, wheeler has had a very solid start to his career. good for him, great for a former wcha player to see but what he said to finley that not many know will go down as a major scumbag move to me as long as he ever plays....ill leave it at that........GO SIOUX worry about your boy kangas maybe not giving up 6-8 goals in a wcha game.....or that tissue soft ULTRA CHARMIN wipe D

forgot to add tha the sioux have scored 100 goals this season. most goals in the nationa nd i believe still the most pp goals in the nation as well. just think if we would have scored goals in the first 2 months

doesnt hurt at all as proven in the past but it also isnt needed either. some teams go with it and some dont and both ways work fine. it will be nice to have a back up for eids as well that can play 5-8 games without worrying. we have a nice long list of commited recruits. cant wait to see them all shake out. this dell kid does have great numbers and seems to be a very nice goalie addition
