just got beat out in practice im assuming and im guessing we maybe see davidson if hextall cant go as it seems mario has earned his spot. he may flip with mario though more than likely. toews will be a very slid 4 year player. he started injured but has shown nice flashes like you stated.

yes we have 8 but not by design. by default when fins got hurt and miller stepped in and was much more productive than being a forward. i am excited to see gleason as well but i was ust brainstorming on how to get olsen in as they wont carry 8 d men. it wont work unless 1 d man happens to be a walk on type or something that doesnt expect to play and we dont have that at d. maybe olsen waits his process out to see if genoway leaves or not right away? i have no clue. just trying to think of all possibilities on his status

im sure hak knows what type of players he wants. some may be more of a blue chip style and some may be more of a grinder type. im not saying thats what rodwell is but just imagining recruiting a team and different types of players to fill different roles

good points. i dont see there a way to have 8 d men work with playing time. 7 is the number that works at this level as you can have the 6/7 guy rotate weekend games and still stay fresh and develop. unless olsen simply decides to wait to see what genoway does. who knows. i have no idea. just throwing ideas out there in order to get him as hes a big time player

just get the one of genoway doing it this last january in g forks thats such a funny thing to watch when players do that no matter who it is

yes history is its own thing really. many many smaller schools have rich rich history that many dont realize. my point was it would just take a newer big 10 school years to develop their program which we all agree upon then they can start recruiting with the likes of those of scsu/msu ect.....then when they get there they could turn into a nice solid program who competes. history isnt just und.um, bc ect........thats why i love college hockey. there are many smaller schools that dont exactly compete for a ncaa title every year like some that have just as rich of a hockey history

yeah next year is full with seniors coming back and if forney does come back as suggested then mattson or knight would come in and have 2 extra forwards per night instead of 3 like this season. if genoway leaves then you bring in a d man late or get olsen and keep gleason back 1 more year would be ideal with genoway staying.

penn state will be able to build it for sure. no doubt but just would take a while.

i wouldnt waste my time going to cc unless you keep going right on to good ol scottsdale. if not, watch on tv

greeat, we know minny has a nice hockey history. who cares. i was referring to other schools with history like minny are the sioux, bc, bu, michigan ect....i wasnt comparing umtc history to bsu/scsu/msu so relax on that. i simply was saying they can hang with any team now and beat any wcha on any given night. thats all. it would take penn state years to establish a solid program to compete at a level with minny and sioux or uw. years.

chances are it will be close to you (scsu/msu) unless its cc which could happen. i think cc and umtc could batle for that 5/6 spot

so you want to be in conferences that have history only? yeah like any new big10 teams would have any history. you think a kid is gona go to penn state with no history right away? it would take a long time my friend. not overnite so yes a kid would go to those schools with history for now until new teams can create their programs which would take a nice chunk of years to do. i never said they wouldnt catch up but like ive said it would take a while. of course the gophers have a nice hockey history but there is a nice group of schools out there that have it as well east and west

i dont care where recruits come from. we have a heck of a mix overall which is nice and expecially in the future with a couple states we havent recruited kids from in the past in missouri, mass and pennsylvania i believe.
