Heckuva game by a short-handed DU team. Super gutsy.

Dave B. answers my question:
Head coach David Carle made it clear yesterday that none of the players in protocol would be flown in and available for tonight’s semifinal matchup with North Dakota.

Who are the high-enders that are ridiculous? I have watched a number of UM games and outside of Berniers and Brisson I don’t see ridiculousness. I see a top 3 or 4 team in a pretty weak conference.
I was thinking of Brisson, Berniers, and Kent Johnson. Fun players to watch.

Michigan's high-enders are ridiculously talented.

Minnesota beats Michigan State 2-1 OT
MSU's best hope was to win 1-0 in regulation. They had no forecheck whatsoever.

Gopher's Brock Faber injured at end of second period against Michigan State. Slid into end boards pretty hard.

Gophers going with the mustard breezers today. Not aesthetically pleasing.

St Cloud playing a seriously undermanned CC squad (due to Covid) today. Huskies roll 22-0.
Going for a 2-point conversion after their third touchdown...that's ballsy.

Per Schlossman:
UND will still be without one key player tonight. Forward Grant Mismash (upper body) has been ruled out for the quarterfinal game against Miami. Because there are two days between the quarterfinals and semifinals, Berry said if UND happens to get past Miami, it will re-evaluate Mismash on Monday.
Mismash has not played since Feb. 12 against Denver, when he sustained an upper-body injury. He has missed the last five games. Mismash, a senior, was having a terrific season, tallying nine goals and 18 points in 18 games.

When I read this, my heart just about stopped.

No, going +1 skater hasn't gone well this year. Maybe UND could go with four skaters and two goaltenders at all times.

There's some truth to the saying that hockey is a race to three. Three goals would have won or tied every college hockey game tonight except for the Harvard-BC 4-4 tie.

We need to score on this PP. Even though it isn't ours.

"Sure, Coach Berry, we'd love to play at your place. How 'bout the weekend after Thanksgiving?"

I gotta go to the bathroom.

Well holy frickin' cow! Praise the Lord and pass the ketchup!
