I don't think this can happen...but is there a scenario where a UND win over Omaha makes Omaha a #4 seed while UND remains a #1 seed, thereby resulting in UND getting placed somewhere other than Sioux Falls?
If so, that would result in an apparent conflict of interest, in that it might be to UND's advantage to lose in order to gain a preferred regional destination.

Zmolek did get robbed.

Hi, BG guy here again popping in for my yearly engagement with the SiouxSports world. I'm curious as to this group's rankings on the attractiveness of the BG job vs. the Miami job. Which is "better" and why?
I'll hang up and listen to your answer.
Hey man, thanks for stopping by. The BGSU job has at least one huge advantage over the Miami job: a reasonable path to conference championships and the NCAA tournament. Bowling Green can more easily compete at the top of the CCHA; at the very least no one looks to be running away with the conference anymore. Miami however is far behind the top of the NCHC; they’re even far behind the middle of the conference. So Miami has a longer and more difficult path to success than BGSU, in my opinion. (Plus I’m not sure that folks in Miami are content with their conference affiliation. That’s probably not an issue at Bowling Green.)

If BU gets sent west because of UMass hosting, maybe some of those eastern hockey writers will change their tune about wanting to keep the regional format as it is now.
Maybe but some of those guys really believe that on-campus regionals are inherently unfair.

FWIW- I am not confident that we could win without last change this year. In 2016, I was confident if we had to play short-handed.
With that top line and d-core, Dane could’ve skated a few shifts and we probably would’ve been alright. (Well not against DU.)

CHN's Pairwise Customizer has Western Michigan dropping to 14 with a loss.

Robson looks pretty full. Kudos to CC fans.

BC survives. UConn does not.

UConn on the PP with empty net...

BC still beating UConn 5-4, but looking somewhat mortal.

OMac to Blake makes it 3-0.

If Emery is as good as he’s supposed to be, UND will have a couple of elite defensive defensemen next season.

Zmolek might be my favorite player. He's old-time tough-guy hockey.

Watched a bit of the RPI-Quinnipiac game. Heard Brendan Budy's name. Didn't realize he was still playing college hockey.

I haven't seen anything but positive comments on Persson's attitude, so this must be nagging illness or nagging injury, right?
We've had influenza going through the house. It's bad, then kinda goes away, then comes back and hangs on for awhile. Maybe something like that?
